THE FOUR REASONS WHY GOD GIVES SUCH ONES OVER TO UNCLEANNESS:
(1) "Therefore God in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness".
        (Rom 1:24 NWT)

(2) They "exchanged the truth of God for the lie".

(3) They "venerated and rendered sacred service to the creation rather than the One who created,
      who is blessed forever. Amen." (Rom 1:25 NWT).

(4) "In their wickedness they are stifling the truth". (Rom 1:18 NEB).

THE RESULTING CONSEQUENCES:
"In consequence, I say, God has given them up to shameful passions. Their women have exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural, and their men in turn, giving up natural relations with women, burn with lust for one another; males behave indecently with males, and are paid in their own persons the fitting wage of such perversion." (Rom 1:26,27 NEB).

(1) Shame. (See the above).

(2) They cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6:9).

(3) Destruction of their bodies through A.I.D.S. etc, to save their spirit in the Day of the Lord (1 Cor 5:5 NEB)
     A cure for A.I.D.S. would remove their due recompense from God. They therefore have no defence for
     their conduct. (Rom 1:20, 21).

THE PURPOSE OF GIVING THEM UP TO SATAN.
Similarly, and in regard to incestuous behaviour, all perverts are given up to satan "for the destruction of the body, so that their spirit may be saved on the Day of the Lord". (1 Cor 5:5 NEB).

The importance of this knowledge is in regard to the actions that must be taken when and if such acts of uncleanness exist among our christian "brothers" in the faith. These we must judge out from our association. For: "A little leaven leavens all the dough" (1 Cor 5:6 NEB). Perversions outside the faithful assembly of God on earth are dealt with by God (by being given over to satan).

The only hope for those who have been bathed in the purifying "waters" but who have turned to such immorality, is to have them "rooted out" of christian company, and for the desires of their hearts to experience the active obscenities resulting in the full recompense of destruction of their bodies. "Rooted out", means no further growth from within the christian community. (1 Cor 5:2 NEB).

HUMAN PASSIONS:
(a) There is the passion for serving God while remaining single.

(b) Natural passions of Christians, before and after they are married,

(c) Unnatural passions among married and single persons for worshipping the creation
     (other humans of the same sex), instead of worshipping the Creator and giver of holy life.

HERE WE CAN SEE THE EXTENT OF THE CLEANSING "WATERS" BY HOLY SPIRIT,
LEADING TO, AND FOLLOWING, BAPTISM.

HOMOSEXUAL: Having a sexual propensity for persons of one's own sex.
PROPENSITY:     Inclination.
PERVERSION:   Turn aside (thing) from its proper use; Lead astray (person, mind) from right opinion or
                              conduct or esp. religious belief. Apostate. (Oxford Dictionary).
