The main considerations incorporated into the design of the tabernacle are safety, freedom of movement, and shelter between rooms and corridors. The area in the centre is where spiritual "food" is provided: "Twelve crops of fruit, yielding their fruits each month. And the leaves of the trees [were] for the curing of the nations." (Rev 22:2).
