WHEN GOD ABYSSES SATAN AND HIS DEMONS, WHAT WILL THIS MEAN TO THE GREAT NUMBER OF THOSE THEY INHABIT?
The last anger of God, now imminent, will be poured out "UPON THE AIR". This means, upon the "spiritual powers of the air", namely upon those demon spirits that Paul referred to in his letter to the Ephesians. (Eph 2:2. Rev 16:17 NEB). Following this, God will begin His everlasting rule and will reward all His servants. (Rev 11:15).
Demon spirits are now inhabiting and influencing all unGodly persons, to a greater or a lesser degree. So what, we may ask, will happen to those who have lived until now by demonic authority over others, after satan and his demons are abyssed? The answer to this is that these people will be freed of the "veil" of stubborn ignorance that these spirits of this present age of "darkness" were able to keep them under. They will feel great shame, as they will see clearly how they wilfully chose to sin against the Holiness of God in their lifetime by their spiritual uncleanness allowing demonic residence within them. This spiritual uncleanness kept them outside the spiritual "courtyard" of faith, and therefore without The Christ's opportunity for their reconciliation. They will instead feel great "remorse" over the shameful "nakedness" of their disobedience, "naked" for all to see. (Rev 3:18). Many will drop dead and be ashes under the feet of God's servants. (Mal 4:3).
DEMONIC DEPENDENCY.
Demons have rank among themselves. Therefore, this must mean that those humans that allowed residence within them for demons with greater authority, have greater authority in wickedness themselves. These people will have complete dependency upon demonic authority, right up until the time of their abyssing, and will therefore suffer the greatest loss when this event takes place. As a matter of course, the disruption this will cause to the present systems will be very great.
Augustine said this: 'Enemy spirits find their pleasure...in the soul of a suppliant, deluded and subjected to their dominion. They bar the way to the true God, so that a man may not become a sacrifice to Him, so long as he sacrifices to any other being'. (Augustine Bk.10. Ch.21).
