TO "ISRAEL" GOD SAID: "I HAVE GIVEN EGYPT AS A
RANSOM FOR YOU, ETHIOPIA AND SEBA IN PLACE
OF YOU", "NUBIA AND SEBA ARE YOUR PRICE."
(From Isaiah 43:3 NWT NEB).

Spiritual "Jacob" today are those of God's beloved people of like nature to Jacob, whom God calls "Israel"; those among both Jews and Gentiles who have spiritual natures, and spiritually are His "children". (Isaiah 44:1-3. Rom 11:25,26).

Further, Jehovah has promised a gathering of all His sons and daughters, by His word: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. From the sunrising I shall bring your seed, and from the sunset I shall collect you together… from the extremity of the earth". (From Isaiah 43:5,6).

However, it should be noted that millions of people of Jewish descent were gathered and destroyed by German forces of "Assyrian"-type disposition during the 1939-1945 world war. They were not protected by God. They were not of the spiritual "land" of "Israel". Indeed, many of the Jews that survived, and their offspring, still compel Jehovah to serve them by burdening Him with their sins, instead of serving Him through The Christ as beloved members of the "great crowd". (Isaiah 43:24. Rom 11:27,28).

NATIONAL GROUPS ARE NOW BEING SACRIFICED?
"And I shall give men in place of you, and national groups in place of your soul." "I will sacrifice⁽¹⁾ lands for you". (Isaiah 43:4 NWT Moffatt). Unlike the massacre of those of Jewish descent from 1939 to 1945, whatever adverse circumstances are prevailing at the time when Jehovah gathers His beloved people, He promises to protect them; even to the extent of actually sacrificing nations such as Egypt, Ethiopia, and surrounding lands as a ransom⁽²⁾ for His people. But how will God judge between those of "Israel" and the "Assyrian"?

It should be understood that people of an "Assyrian"-type warring disposition are symbolically described as "Assyrians". (Isaiah 10:12-19 NEB). Those who through demonic activity attempt to suppress spiritual people of God, or use oppressive economic measures to try to prevent them from coming together as one nation, thereby demonstrate their membership and active promotion of the unGodly political rule of the "wild beast" by demoncracy or dictatorship. (See Rev Ch.13). Both forms of rule are of satanic design, that mobilize police and military forces to impose his (and their) will against God.

But neither of these powers have spirit dispositions capable of establishing unity among nations; they are brittle, like "iron" mixed with "clay". (See Dan 2:39-43 NEB). Consequently, the "trickling streams" of Spirit "waters" being poured out from Almighty God leading to the prophesied "flood" of righteousness, will destroy the "image" of the "wild beast" and its earthly political power. (See: Isaiah 44:3, Isaiah 10:22,23 NEB footnote, Dan 2:44,45 NEB). (See Pages 5/5/84A and 5/5/84B).
