THE GREAT EARTHQUAKE OF REVELATION Ch.16.
"And the great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell" (V.19 NWT). On Wednesday December 7th 1988, three cities in Armenia fell by a shaking of the earth so great that around 80,000 people were killed and an estimated 700,000 lost their homes. The city of Spitak was flattened, and only a handful of the 50,000 population survived. Leninakan, Stepanavan, and Kirovakan were also badly shattered.

Besides being indicators for us, such earth-shattering events after the seventh and last angel had poured out his "bowl upon the air" (V.17), began also the wrath of God upon the people of their "Babylon the Great" and the great "harlot". (Rev Ch.17). Although similar to the previous earthquake in Mexico City which took place as prophesied (Rev 11:13) in the "great city" (Rev 16:19), the earthquake in Armenia fulfilled the scripture: "and the cities of the nations fell" (V.19) and followed soon after the Mexico quake. Now is the time when the "wild beast" will devastate the symbolic and composite "harlot" of idolatrous religions (spirit fornications). (Rev Ch.17). At present there is great ethnic strife in Armenia.

"IT HAS COME TO PASS!" (Rev 16:17 NWT).
The greatest importance in all this is that we are now in the final stages of the wrath of God! A great deal of the symbolically described "Babylon the great" existed in both lands of Armenia and Mexico. Of course, there are other countries at the present time being similarly dealt with by shocks, of fire, storm, sword, earthshakings, and for the same reasons. This "mother of the harlots" is the "mother of the people of the disgusting things of the earth". These are already judged as being guilty of the "blood of the holy ones and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus". (See Rev 17:5,6 NWT). These are typical of those in the time of The Christ (of the Sanhedrin) who are still today the wealthy political/religionists types within countries, together with the apostate "disgusting things". All these will now begin to experience the final anger of God referred to as heavenly "hail", "with every stone about the weight of a talent"; including aerial shelling. (Rev 16:21).

Quake areas prove to have no anointed holy ones in their nation. See Genesis chapter 18 verses 23 to 32 for the judgement principle of God.

All counter-activity against the God-given spirit work of His anointed sons and witnesses on earth is deemed to be the guilt referred to, against our life's "blood" while members of the spirit "body" were alive in the flesh. Such guilt was both in a spiritual and physical way. The fulfilled appointed years of 2,300 evenings and mornings of the "disgusting thing", was brought about by unsealed elders who supplanted God's Spirit "land" of Christ's congregations during this era. It was a progressive guilt leading up to open rebellion, active even prior to that period, and meriting only disgust. (Rev 17:5,6. See also Matt 24:15. Dan 8:13,14)
