REVEALING LAWLESS DEEDS OF APOSTASY
.The following are just some of the many unchristian deeds of apostasy and abandonment of christian principles by those falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses. These are from living examples witnessed by the writer of the "Little Scroll" of Revelation Chapter 10 and from the observations of Barbara Grizzuti Harrison, a former Jehovah's Witness and one of their proof readers from 1944 to 1954 described in her book 'Visions of Glory. A History and a Memory of Jehovah's Witnesses', first published in 1978 by Robert Hale Ltd. (ISBN 7091 8013 6)
She wrote: 'My religion savaged those to whom it offered salvation'. 'God didn't live in my religion. If He lived at all, He lived somewhere else (not in my heart)'. 'For twelve years I lived in fear'. (Pg.14 and 201).
BEHAVIOUR JUDGED BY A CHRIST (an anointed one) AS BEING DEEDS OF APOSTASY:
(1) Those discarding their elderly and senile "brothers" in the faith for being 'misfits', 'unattractive', 'aberrant', and as 'waste products of the devil's world, and not as fellow sufferers', leaving them to beg. Particularly, those who wrote the article, 'Twilight Years Can Be Useful Years' ('Awake!' magazine. 1973). (See Pg.80 of 'Visions of Glory'). These hypocrites made no provision for the care of their elderly and long-serving "brothers" and "sisters" from the great wealth they gained from God's Word. THIS IS APOSTASY.
(2) Those involved in bullying hundreds of people out of their homes, even the sick. (Pg.85-87).
THIS IS APOSTASY.
(3) Those ignoring the laws of God concerning unclean food, especially those eating the flesh of the pig. (Pg.82).
(Isaiah 66:17. Lev 11:7. Mal 4:4). THIS IS APOSTASY.
(4) Those seeking to avoid paying taxes while living off huge profits and using public services provided by other people's taxes. (Pg.84). THIS IS APOSTASY. "Pay back, therefore, Caesar's things to Caesar, but God's things to God." (Matt 22:21).
(5)
Those administrating apostasy by disfellowshipping innocent persons without relevant scriptural testimony from the Word of God being presented to the accused as to the allegation(s), and by their refusal to name the accuser(s) or witness(es) who instigated the allegation(s) that formed the basis of their decision. (Matt 18:15-17) (Pg.96,97). THIS IS APOSTASY.(6)
Those who are hostile to "brothers" and "sisters" without just cause, unjustly treating them as enemies.(7)
Those who make predictions, falsely prophesying with calculations of future events to thousands,(8)
Appointing spiritually unfit persons as lawless leaders ('elders') to administer to members of The Christ's(9)
Subjecting people of God to apostasy, as in the case of Barbara G. Harrison.APOSTASY:
Abandonment or renunciation of one's religious faith or moral allegiance. (Oxford Dictionary).5/12/94.
