MANKIND'S FINAL BATTLE -- WITH THE WORD OF GOD.
At last! We have reached the threshold, both in point of time and in the events leading up to the greatest war of all wars. To name a few of these previous events: The "great mountain burning with fire" (the explosion of the atom bomb); The "contemptible creature" Khomeini; The Ethiopian drought; The "great earthquake" killing a third of the greatest city on earth (Mexico City); The destruction of Lebanon; The destruction of Babylon, and the one who would come to his end without a helper (Iraq and Saddam Hussein); The "disgusting thing standing in a holy place" (false servants); etc, etc.
But this is to be the final war, a war against the Son of God, His Holy Word; a war that only true servants of God will come out of victoriously. It is to be a war between the people of the nations and what is written down as The Word from God; the one through whom The Word came, namely The Christ Jesus.
To war against The Word is to war against God. So the question we should now be asking is: In what ways could the people of the nations possibly war against His Word? They can do this by speaking out against its validity, its principles. When they do this, they will all be warring in their spirit against the Holy Spirit; particularly against the rules of conduct under the new commandments given to us by the messenger of The Word, The Christ Jesus.
This spirit warring against The Word will destroy people in all spheres of life, but particularly those who love this system of things more than God and His Word --from the flesh of kings and their commanders, down to the lowest slaves in the nations. Thanks be to God that it will also bring about the abyssing of the political "beast" on earth, and satan the original "beast" who gave this image of himself all its authority. Abyssed too will be the "false prophet", who rode (used) this political beastlike vehicle for its own unGodly ends (false religionists and charitable organisations, who have tried to stem off the last angers of God over certain nations according to the advanced warnings of "The Signal" of God).
The symbolic meaning of this abyssing is the bringing to an end of all its functions, removing its active authority in the minds of men. All those with the "mark" (satan's organisations) will be abandoned, but only for a thousand years. After the thousand years, such organisations as the two unGodly types of man's wilfulness against our Lord's priestly arrangements, namely the "wild beast" and the "false prophet", will be brought back again to finally test all of God's people still remaining on earth at that time, testing them as to their loyalty to Him and His anointed priests in heaven. (Rev 20:3).
The great majority of people worldwide do not obey The Word in their lives. But when the "rider", who in judgement and war is just, begins to wield The Word with greater authority like a sharp sword to smite the nations, then the rebellious spirits now within people (that the Lord previously sent down to the vicinity of the earth) will rise up in anger against Christ's instructions, and therefore against the "rider" of the white horse and his followers. (Rev 19:11).
On the one hand, unGodly people will feel more strongly the injustices in their systems that are depriving them, and will rebel against the current instigators; politicians in authority, false religionists, and so-called charities. These will be disposed of. But on the other hand, they will be smitten to death in spirit by the "sword" against their unGodly and unrepentant lives.
THE RULE OF "THE WORD" LIKE AN "IRON ROD".
The "Little Scroll" of Revelation chapter 10 is bitter, because it recalls to the minds and spirits of those who digest it their errors against our Lord, particularly those against the latter members (the "body" of The Christ). But it is also future prophecies that will be uttered AGAIN "over peoples and nations and languages and many kings". (Rev 10:10,11 NEB). It contains the principles that are like an "iron rod", by which The Christ Michael and his brothers will rule. (Rev 19:15). But how wonderful for those who have already been spiritually trained and adjusted by this "rod" called the "Little Scroll" before this final heavenly war is about to break out among mankind over all the earth!
