THE MEANING OF THE TWO SYMBOLIC WILDERNESSES
IN ISAIAH CHAPTERS 34 AND 35.

The wilderness prophesied to come about in Edom, spoken of through the prophet Isaiah, was the end result of desolations, and was symbolised by animals who frequent such literal deserted places or wildernesses. But chapter 34 embraces a great deal more.

(1) It reveals in symbolic language the total desolating by God of the wicked systems and nations of people
with Edomite natures, enemies of the covenant.

(2) That when anointed servants of God receive a vision, we have to search for its "mate" in the book
of our Lord to be able to understand all the meaning of the vision.

(3) When the last Edomite natures are finally cut off, their spirit "land" is then a wilderness.
This was indicated in vision by haunters of waterless regions calling to one another.
After this, Jehovah will bring in the next stage.

This will be the long-awaited blossoming of justice, righteousness, and peace described in chapter 35 and 32:16-18, out of the "wilderness" and new spirit knowledge that was "fed" to sons of God while in the "wilderness". It was after the prophesied "harassing" of us took place by "Edomite" natures that we began to be spiritually "fed" by God's heavenly "woman", immediately after our removal from the Holy place by antichrists. (Rev 12:6). Then we were told to: "Come on up here". (Rev 11:12).

Although the last of anointed ones of God were sent into a spirit "wilderness", and are to be the future kings of God's heavenly Kingdom, our knowledge from God was not sought by other humans during this period. We certainly were not viewed in any exalted sense, nor were our sons, the future princes of the Kingdom by Christ; meaning we were not called to the kingship by Edomites. In fact, our spiritual revelations and lives were ignored by everyone. (Ch.34:12). It was then, that the previous torrents of spiritual "waters" in the land of "Edomites" became torrents of pitch (among people with rebellious natures, those having only the physical inclinations and appreciations of Esau).

Through Isaiah, our Lord then says: "Search for yourselves in the book of Jehovah and read out loud: not one has been missing of them; they actually do not fail to have each one her mate, for it is the mouth of Jehovah that has given the command, and it is His Spirit that has collected them together." (V.16). These are paralleled understandings of prophecies and their fulfilments, and of the scriptures denoting the correct associations. (See verses 14 & 15 NWT). This signifies that while we are in the spirit "wilderness", the place of isolation away from wicked influences, we are taught by means of visions, from the teachings we receive from God's heavenly "woman" and His Word.

AFTER THE DESTRUCTION OF "EDOMITE" NATURES IN GOD'S "LAND" ON EARTH.
Only after these things take place will God cause members in the "wilderness" being "fed" by God's heavenly "woman" to blossom and exult with great joy. For the "wilderness" will blossom in the same things that our Lord Jesus and his disciples blossomed in (but then it was out of the literal wilderness beginning with John's call to repentance and followed by baptism in Christ for forgiveness). Then in chapter 35 verse 2 it says: "There will be those who will see the glory of Jehovah, the splendour of our God." This means that what was revealed by Spirit in the "wilderness" in this last generation was written up in the manuscript called the "Little Scroll". These revealings will be the things taught in unpolluted places, namely in literal and spiritual wildernesses by His repurchased people, out of their new knowledge, "to time indefinite". (Isaiah 35:10).

KNOWLEDGE FROM OUR "WILDERNESS" WILL TEACH THE WAY OF HOLINESS. (Rev 10:10,11).
In Isaiah chapter 35:1-8 it says of these "wilderness" people: "And there will certainly come to be a highway there, even a way; and the Way of Holiness it will be called". (From Isaiah 35:8 NWT). Further, there will not be any wild persons there (symbolised by animals of the wild. V.9). It will only be for those persons already walking on the way toward Holiness, for those redeemed by Jehovah, who were sent into the spirit "wilderness" to be taught His Holiness. These will return to Zion, to their rightful places in the new congregations of The Christ. They will teach people what happened to those who used God's Word to teach "lying signs and portents", denounced in the "Little Scroll". (Rev 10. Isaiah 33:14).
