GATHERING OF THE NATIONS TO JUDGEMENT AT JEHOSHAPHAT BEGAN AFTER THE "GOOD NEWS"
WAS BROUGHT TO A FINISH. (Rev 10:7. Joel 3:2).

JEHOVAH IS SITTING IN JUDGEMENT ("JEHOSHAPHAT").
It was Jehovah who decided when the opportunity for salvation through the exercise of faith in the "good news" by The Christ should be brought to a finish. (Rev 10:7). The "good news" of salvation was the spirit administration of The Christ (now our Lord Michael in heaven) to those being saved by it. Those acquiring salvation through the "good news" are sanctified by their obedience to its requirements. Superfluous badness in one's spirit is progressively removed by faith, spiritual knowledge, prayers to God through the mediator Christ, and repurchase by his ransom sacrifice. (1 Tim 2:5,6).

Now that the period of time allowed for the "good news" has been brought to a finish, we are now in the period of nations being gathered to the judgement and verdict of God. What, one may ask, will happen to the present generation of unsanctified unbelievers, or their offspring, as to salvation? The answer is that they are spiritually unclean from the standpoint of God (1 Cor 7:14) and so are subject to the "hour of test". To his servants our Lord Michael said: "Because you have kept my command and stood fast, I will also keep you from the ordeal ("hour of test". NWT) that is to fall upon the whole world and test its inhabitants. I am coming soon." (Rev 3:10 NEB). This ordeal will be a trial of the spirit of every inhabitant. Jehovah God reserved the world of Noah's day for judgement by a deluge of water, sweeping away the Godless men of that time, but the present world is reserved for judgement by Spirit "fire". "The Lord will judge by fire, with fire He will test all living men, and many will be slain by the Lord". (Isaiah 66:16 NEB. 2 Peter 3:5-7). Jehovah is about to flood the earth with the Spirit of His justice. Those who do not know God or obey the "good news" about our Lord Jesus will receive the Spirit of judgement from Him and will undergo the "judicial punishment of everlasting destruction". (See 2 Thess 1:7-10).

"JEHOVAH HAS A DAY OF VENGEANCE, A YEAR OF
RETRIBUTIONS FOR THE LEGAL CASE OVER ZION." (Isaiah 34:8).
As nations collect themselves together in their shared evil spirit aspect for the war against Jehovah God, they must be prepared for His judgement of them on account of His beloved people and inheritance "Israel" whom they scattered among their nations. (Joel 3:1-3). World aid programmes in recent years have been particularly successful in gathering nations and revealing the evil spirit aspect of their inhabitants as they violate judicial decisions of God. During Jehovah's "year of retributions", when He will requite for good or evil done, He promises to recompense His people for the years of the "locusts". (Joel 2:25).

After the legal case over Zion has been conducted in heaven, the "day" of vengeance is the first of 360 days (the "year") of retributions. The "Little Scroll" being part of the testimony presented by anointed witnesses of God.

KINGS ARE BEING GATHERED TO THE WAR. (Rev 16:14).
BBC News: Wednesday 17 September 1986. "Royals Asked to Head Famine Fight". 'Sir Henry Plumb Conservative leader has written to 20 leaders including Thatcher and Reagan, calling for a world food summit. The Prince and Princess of Wales are asked to spear-head campaign.'

The war of the great day of God the Almighty is not one that can be fought by armed forces in the conventional sense, but is fought by individuals and nations taking measures against, and contrary to, the judicial decision of God to sacrifice nations on behalf of Zion His spiritual nation.

While leaders of nations ("kings") use financial and food aid to thwart the sacrifice of nations by God, it is prophesied: "And the wild beast was caught, and along with it the false prophet that performed in front of it the signs (miracles. NEB) with which he misled those who received the mark of the wild beast and those who render worship to its image. While still alive, they both were hurled into the fiery lake that burns with sulphur." (Rev 19:20).
