THE TYRANTS AGAINST ARIEL
WILL BE EXTERMINATED!

(From Isaiah Chapter 29 NEB & NWT).

"And it must occur in an instant, suddenly." (29:5).

To be awakened "in an instant" by the Spirit of the Lord's Judgement to the reality that one's life has been totally meaningless and devoid of any purpose or worth, is the most shocking thing anyone could experience within any nation. (29:5-8. See 29:14 NEB).

I say, within any nation, because it will have its effect among all those attempting to glorify God with their mouths whilst their religion is merely a precept of men, learnt by rote. Indeed, all those claiming to be of the spiritual house of "Jacob" but who refuse to comply with the spiritual requirements of God will be exposed to His Judgement. It will be "suddenly, all in an instant" that punishment shall come from the Lord of Hosts. (29:5,6 NEB). A "devouring [Spirit] fire" will be poured out upon all those teaching apostate doctrines conceived by mere men, who commit them to memory without question, and who thereby war against His spiritual "altar" class (Ariel) by refusing to receive spiritual instruction from faithful anointed sons of God by Holy Spirit. (29:13 NEB*). That is why it is written: "In Zion the sinners have come to be in dread; shivering has grabbed hold of the apostates: 'Who of us can reside for any time with a devouring fire? Who of us can reside for any time with long-lasting conflagrations?'" (See Isaiah 33:10-14).

THE PHYSICAL INDICATOR.
"The time is but short before Lebanon goes back to grassland and the grassland is no better than scrub." (29:17 NEB). Lebanon has progressively been going "back to grassland" since September 1982 when "in an instant, suddenly" Lebanese forces in Beirut massacred 800 Palestinians civilians. (29:5. See Page 883B). These killers opened up the "doors" of Lebanon, and since then many majestic leaders have been killed. (Zech 11:1-3). Battles between military factions in Lebanon have been crushing the land to pieces, with every citizen effectively "in the power of his neighbour". (11:6 NEB). But what is the significance of what is happening in Lebanon? That it is the physical indicator of what is to follow: "For I will never again pity the inhabitants of the earth, says the LORD. I will put every man in the power of his neighbour and his king, and as each country is crushed I will not rescue him from their hands." (Zech 11:6 NEB).

In the lives of spiritual sons of "Jacob", "the horde of all the nations warring against Ariel, all their baggage-trains and siege-works, and all her oppressors themselves" shall fade as a dream when those warring against Mount Zion are suddenly awakened to the Spirit of the Lord's Judgement within them. His Spirit will continue until all ruthless enemies of Mount Zion crumble into dust and fly "like chaff". (29:5-7 NEB). For "the tyrant must reach his end, and the bragger must come to his finish, and all those keeping alert to do harm must be cut off". (29:20).

After the complete removal of these enemies of God, the heavenly temple sanctuary of God will be opened (Rev 11:19) and Godly worship at the festivals of booths will begin: "And in that day deaf ones will certainly hear the words of the book, and out of the gloom and out of the darkness even the eyes of the blind ones will see." (29:18). Those who were spiritually "deaf" or "blind" will come to understand the spiritual meanings of the Word of God, "those whose minds are confused will gain understanding, and the obstinate will receive instruction." (29:24 NEB).
