"For, look! in those days and in that time, when I shall bring back the captive ones of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also collect together all the nations and bring them down to the low plain of Jehoshaphat; and I will put Myself on judgement with them* there on account of My people and My inheritance Israel, whom they scattered among the nations; and they apportioned out My own land. And for My people they kept casting lots; and they would give the male child for a prostitute, and the female child they sold for wine, that they might drink." (Joel 3:1-3).

WHO ARE THE PEOPLE OF GOD?
HOW CAN THEY BE IDENTIFIED?

(1) They can only be His faithful servants "scattered" among nations and ostracised to the "entrance to hope" (Hosea 2:14,15) by those* being judged and soon to receive the verdict of Jehovah at "Jehoshaphat" (the valley of verdict). Why? Because:

(2) They* apportioned out the spiritual "land" of God allocated to His faithful anointed sons by Holy Spirit (the "constant feature"). (3:2,3).

How did their enemies apportion out the spiritual "land"? By "casting lots": Appointing unsealed men during the period of the 2,300 evenings and mornings men whom God did not appoint. (Dan 8:13,14). This process of "casting [out] lots" was in order to scatter His anointed sons (the "lots") first by shifting their responsibilities from them to unsealed men (through letters of recommendation by proxy), and then by completely casting them out of their congregations. (See pages 248 & 250 of the 1975 Yearbook of the "disgusting thing" "standing in a holy place", the composite "man of lawlessness" falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses. (2 Thess 2:1-12. Matt 24:15). They obeyed the false teachings of unclean spirits implementing apostate changes to the spiritual meanings of God's Word, instead of being obedient to the righteous teachings being revealed by Holy Spirit through anointed sons of God under His sanctification.

RECOMPENSE FOR THE YEARS OF THE "LOCUSTS". (2:25).
The first known devouring of apostate teachings by God's holy military force of "locusts" in the "land" were the spiritual denunciations from God issued through one of His anointed sons and first sent to the congregations 14^thDecember 1976. It was Page 777: "Are We Starting Again To Recommend Ourselves?" citing 2 Corinthians 3:1 and Page 778: "Are We Recommending Men Who Recommend Themselves?" citing 2 Corinthians 10:12. These pages revealed the guilt of men and women who while under a vow to God sinned against Holy Spirit and exchanged the glory of future heavenly immortality for earthly glory from mere humans. They began their evil course by self-seeking flattery of fellow apostates in order to secure a recommendation from them for an apportionment of "land" in Christ's congregations.

The suffering of tribulation "ten days" (years) by faithful anointed sons of God began on the 1st December 1971 when the sect of JWs issued an unclean spirit directive that any unsealed man could be considered and recommended for the position of 'elder'. (Rev 2:9,10). This tribulation ended 30th November 1981 when the "Little Scroll" was sent complete (as of that date) in denunciation of the apostate spirit of uncleanness in the spiritual "land" of God. The work of anointed "locusts" began on the 14th December 1976, and will continue until all apostate teachings and the spirit of uncleanness have been eradicated from the spiritual "land" of God. During the tribulation "ten days" the spiritual "food" received by anointed "locusts" from God were primarily in the form of denunciations and corrective disciplines. Spirit of joy within His spiritual "land" is withheld during this period of the curse of the "flying scroll"^▲, also called the "Little Scroll" of bitterness. (Zech 5:1-4.^▲ Rev 10:1-11).

After the spiritual cleansing work of the "locusts" has ended, God has promised [cleansed] "grain", "new wine and oil" (2:24), as recompense and a reason for rejoicing. No more shame or reproach to time indefinite for those being brought back from spiritual captivity. (2:23-27. 3:1).
