"Rouse yourself, rouse yourself, rise up, O Jerusalem, you who have drunk at the hand of Jehovah His cup of rage. The goblet, the cup causing reeling, you have drunk, you have drained out". (Isaiah 51:17 NWT).

"THESE DAYS RECALL FOR ME THE DAYS OF NOAH". (Isaiah 54:9 NEB).
"The goblet, My cup of rage--you will not repeat the drinking of it anymore. And I will put it in the hand of the ones irritating you". (See Isaiah 51:22, 23 NWT). "These days" that God likens to the days of Noah (of His promise never to flood the earth again) is His promise to anointed sons of Zion still alive in the flesh that He will never again become indignant toward them or rebuke them. (Isaiah 54:9 NWT). What does all this mean? That it was by His wrath that the denunciations of the "Little Scroll" were compiled. Now we attach watchfulness to the time of God ending His wrath, as He has promised through members of the "woman" (Isaiah 54:11. 51:22), putting the spirit of His wrath into the hands of the ones irritating us instead. (Isaiah 51:23). I, a member of the "woman", have been used in placing the knowledge of His wrath; of "The One that is speaking. Look! It is I". (Isaiah 52:6 NWT). It is not only the knowledge of what offends God we want an end to, but also His wrath, and the beginning of publishing: "Your God has become King!" which begins "something better". (Isaiah 52:7 NWT).

"MY NAME WAS BEING TREATED WITH DISRESPECT". (Isaiah 52:5B NWT).
As soon as this knowledge of their disrespect began to be shown them, they sold us into "Egypt", for nothing. From these "devastated places" we are also being repurchased. (Isaiah 52:3,9). The extent of this disrespect for His Name was clearly seen during the compilation, by Spirit, of the "Little Scroll". (Rev 10:8-11). "For that reason My people will know My Name, even for that reason in that day, because I am the One that is speaking. Look! It is I". (Isaiah 52:6 NWT). Amen, Father.

AFTERWARDS, "SOMETHING BETTER" (Isaiah 52:7), AFTER HIS "SIGNAL". (Isaiah 49:22).
Jehovah God "has bared His holy arm before the eyes of all the nations" (Isaiah 52:10 NWT) with His Signal over nations, by current events though still like "a thief" (Rev 16:15. 1 Thess 5:2); within Egypt, Ethiopia, Lebanon, the "contemptible creature", and the "disgusting thing". While our enemies have been proclaiming "true peace and security", the baring of His arm is now removing "haughtily exultant ones" (Zeph 3:11 NWT) which progressively frees us. For we now see with our own eyes "the Lord returning in pity to Zion". (Isaiah 52:8 NEB). The "something better" is news of our deliverance. (Isaiah 52:7 NEB NWT). After the fulfilment of Zephaniah 3:10,11, the removal of "your haughtily exultant ones". "In Zion sinners quake with terror, the Godless are seized with trembling and ask, can any of us live with a devouring fire? Can any live in endless burning?" (Isaiah 33:14 NEB).
