After the calamitous day of God's wrath --that is about to break out worldwide and which will commence in the Middle East-- is ended, our Lord will have already searched Jerusalem with a "lantern" for the Jewish remnant of His people, those who were true to His covenant. (Zeph 1:12-18 NEB).

"Jerusalem" is the spiritual City of God among all His people worldwide. As for the enemies of the Jewish remnant: "The Lord will appear against them with all His terrors; for He will reduce to beggary all the gods of the earth, and all the coasts and islands of the nations will worship Him, every man in his own home." Then the Jewish people shall possess their land in peace. (Zeph 2:11 NEB).

This will take place. For the full number of Gentiles has been gathered in "full strength", determined a short while after the order of the Lord to "cast clear out" of the "courtyard" the Gentile enemies of the covenant after they had trampled on the "temple" of God during the 3½ year period given for this, which ended January 1979. (Rev 11:1,2 NWT). For it is written: "...this partial blindness has come upon Israel only until the Gentiles have been admitted in full strength". When that has happened, the whole of Israel will be saved, in agreement with the text of scripture: "From Zion shall come the Deliverer; he shall remove wickedness from Jacob. And this is the covenant I will grant them, when I take away their sins." (Rom 11:25-27 NEB). This is applicable of course to our Lord's Second Coming.

"NOTHING LESS THAN LIFE FROM THE DEAD!" (Rom 11:16 NEB).
The surviving Jews, who like their forefathers were "branches" lopped off from the natural "olive tree" and were spiritually dead, will soon be grafted back into their native stock! This fulfils Paul's words to the Romans. (Romans 11:19-24 NEB). And they will soon accept that the one they wait for, their 'coming one' (The Messiah), has already appeared. They will no longer be spiritually blind. But only a remnant shall return after the coming calamity. (Isaiah 10:22,23. Rom 9:27).

ALL THEIR OWN "STUMBLING-BLOCKS" OUR LORD WILL NOW REMOVE.
"To their zeal for God I can testify; but it is an ill-informed zeal. For they ignore God's way of righteousness, and try to set up their own, and therefore they have not submitted themselves to God's righteousness. For Christ ends the law and brings righteousness for everyone who has faith." (Rom 10:1-4. 11:10 NEB).

God wants you people to "Rend your hearts and not your garments". (Joel 2:13 NEB). Cease your separatist behaviour, your quest for power through unjust interest rates while money-lending (usury), and your sorceries. The bowing of your backs and your senseless worshipping of a wall must cease. The wearing of outlandish clothes and the dishonouring of the headcovering arrangement of our Lord by wearing skullcaps must also cease. (Zeph 1:8 NEB. 1 Cor 11:4,7). Seek humility, and do not seek to become lords over others. For things like these are "stumbling-blocks". Correct these errors, and the greatest "stone" of your stumbling --your disbelief in redemption through The Christ-- will be removed. Then you will obey his law of the spirit, his holy way through faith, and you will be saved. Your preoccupation with the German massacre of 6,000,000 Jews you must cease trying to avenge. For it was THE LORD GOD who brought against you a cruel people in order that you be punished cruelly, as He promised He would, in order to save just some of you.
