ATTEMPTING TO CALCULATE THE YEAR
OF THE COMMENCEMENT OF GOD'S RULE.
Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us certain knowledge in his revelations to the apostle John concerning the very last events on earth leading up to the commencement of the everlasting rule of God. This knowledge is symbolically described with warning "trumpets" and "bowls" of God's anger, and made manifest on earth.
In order to calculate the year of the beginning of God's rule, I have adopted the following method for approximating this: As the 1st of the seven "trumpet" warnings were followed by the pouring out of the malignant "ulcer" that spread worldwide (namely the 1939-1945 war beginning in the month of September -- Rev 8:7. 16:2), and the 6th "trumpet/bowl" resulting in the Mexico earthquake occurred in 1985 (Rev 11:13), then between the beginning of the 1st "trumpet/bowl" and the 6th "trumpet/bowl", five time periods elapsed. Between 1939 and 1985 approximately 46 years elapsed. If we divide this number by the same five time periods we have an average number of 9.2 years for each of these periods. If we were to calculate that the same period of time would pass between the event of the sixth "trumpet/bowl" and the "seventh trumpet" heralding God's rule, by this calculation we would have expected the rule of God to commence sometime in 1994.
To further pinpoint this long-awaited event to the month, again using averages, then as the last world war began in the month of September 1939 and the Mexico quake on the 20th of September 1985, by this calculation the actual month when God might have begun His rule would then have been November 1994. (By dividing the five averaged time periods into 46 years we arrive at 9.2 years for each time period). Unfortunately, the anger of God does not fit into convenient equal time frames to be able to correctly calculate according to events fulfilling the revelations given to John. It should also be borne in mind that at the commencement of God's rule the nations become wrathful, causing God's own anger, and will involve further events in fulfilment of the revelations to John.
Such considerations may make it too difficult to identify the commencement of God's rule, even when it arrives. The time periods between each "trumpet/bowl" (of related events) were actually of different lengths. Secondly, before His rule, all the prophecies of God's Word would have to be fulfilled (i.e.) the full number of God's anointed ones has to be gathered to fulfil the completed number of 144,000, along with the "great crowd" of "other sheep not of this fold" (John 10:16). There is also the seventh anger of God "upon the air" to be fulfilled. Thirdly, do we base our calculations on Jewish calendar months which alternate between 29 and 30 days, with related adjustments that have to be made every few years, or do we base our calculations on the Western Gregorian calendar of leap years with its different adjustments?
Therefore, after God's rule has commenced, we will only then be able to refer back to the time periods between each "trumpet/bowl" in terms of evenings and mornings. Whatever, there are many powerful manifestations immediately ahead of us, and we would do well to keep awake in order to keep our faith and our relationship with God obediently intact.

13/8/94.
