"THE ERROR OF JACOB" BEING ATONED FOR, AND HOW.
THE 'CONTENTION' (Isaiah 27:8)
AND THE "TRAMPLING PLACE". (28:18).
The contention that God has is with
the remaining members of the heavenly "woman" on earth. (Rev 12:13,14). These
remaining anointed ones are used by God as a place of His "trampling".
The "flood" they experience takes them away in spirit to see the reasons for His
contention, in order to make others understand. (28:18,19).
Through dreams and visions of the night they are made to see. (Job 33:15,16).
They also come under His contention if they too are guilty of the offence(s).
The contention concerns only the inhabitants of His spiritual "land" of "Jacob"
("Israel").
THE "ERROR OF
JACOB" TO BE ATONED FOR.
This "error of Jacob" is the guilt
shared by all those falsely claiming to be members of the spiritual
"land" of "Jacob" under development
(the creation of which is coming to completion or fruition).
"And this is all the fruit [when] he takes away his sin…
Yet only when they grind to dust their pagan altar-stones, and never raise again
their sacred poles and pillars, shall Israel
have their guilt forgiven for so their penitence must work."
(27:9 NWT
& Moffatt).
The error is that they have prematurely swallowed down the "early fig"
(erroneously teaching fulfilments of God's Word before its knowledge and
fulfilments were due to be revealed), and was made fully manifest to them.
(Isaiah 28:4). They also administered their premature teachings ('unripe fruit')
during the 2,300 evenings and mornings (Dan 7:25. 8:13,14)
through their false 'seers', ending in apostasy. The attempt of these false
claimants was to occupy the "temple" of The God and thereby be considered a god
themselves before the people, individually erring against the spiritual progress
and development of true sons of "Jacob".
(2 Thess 2:4). The "pulverising" of these apostates ("chalkstones") is
what will exterminate them. (27:9).
"BEATING OFF
[THE FRUIT]". (27:12). WHEN?
The time indicator is "in that day",
when God literally beats off the fruit (harvests) of the torrent valley of
Egypt, and of Ethiopia where 95% of the river Nile's water originates. Since the
blowing of the "horn" with the "Signal" (sent to representatives of Ethiopia
21/7/84), blown with the soundings of the "seventh trumpet", God has been
beating off apostate fruitage worldwide. (Rev 10:7.
Isaiah 18:3). After the atonement, and the removal of apostates, those belonging
to the spiritual "land" of "Jacob" but "lost in Assyria" or "dispersed in Egypt"
will come to bow down to Jehovah in "Jerusalem". (27:13 NEB).
"BY THOSE
STAMMERING WITH THEIR
LIPS AND BY A DIFFERENT TONGUE". (28:11).
These spiritual teachings, and
denunciations of apostasy, are the "different tongue" that apostates are not
willing to hear. The commands and measuring lines of God in these pages, "a
little here, a little there", are in order that the Word of God and the extent
of His boundaries are recognized as the only measures to be listened to. The
repetition of them is likened to "stammering". Those outside these lines of His
building will stumble backwards and be broken and ensnared by their apostasy!
