THIS PHYSICAL EVENT OF THE PAST IS NOW BECOMING A SPIRITUAL REALITY:
"For Jehovah will rise up just as at Mount Perazim, He will be agitated just as in the low plain near Gibeon, that He may do His deed -- His deed is strange -- and that He may work His work -- His work is unusual. And now do not show yourselves scoffers, in order that your bands may not grow strong, for there is an extermination, even something decided upon, that I have heard of from the Sovereign Lord, Jehovah of armies, for all the land." (Isaiah 28:21,22 NWT).

"WHOM WILL ONE INSTRUCT IN KNOWLEDGE"? (V.9).
Over recent years, those anointed by God and still alive on earth became His "trampling place" and His vessels of "quaking" in order to make others understand. But the bands (congregations) of you people have become strong, as scoffers within the "land", and you have refused to hear "what has been heard" through us from our Lord (V.19); even though it was sent to you "here a little, there a little" repeatedly, like a stammering tongue. (V.10,11). This for the reason of your swallowing down unripe spirit "wine" from the written Word of God but of your own interpretation (making) and understanding, pressing ahead presumptuously by teaching fulfilments before their time.

Consequently, you are now left with only your own gluttonous intoxications, with current prophecies and the associated spirit of them cut off from you because of the proud overestimation of yourselves. By Holy Spirit, "measuring lines" for the correction of these "early figs" were put up periodically by us to keep His instructions and their correct meanings intact, along with the times for His prophecies within the confines of His spiritual building. And as an alternative, it was to stumble you, the stubborn ones, backwards so that you are actually broken, ensnared and finally caught (V.13). These "measuring lines" are either to save you from these errors or for the prophesied extermination that is now about to take place within all the spirit "land" (throughout "Ephraimite" congregations on earth).

THE ONE WITH A "STAMMERING" TONGUE.
Now fear will begin among you, because the Lord has provided another insistent "stammering" tongue to serve Him in a very unusual work. The spirit proof of this work indicates that you were not only unwilling to "Give rest to the weary one"(s) on earth (V.12) in the last moments before our God begins His Sovereign rule over all the earth, but also that your last means of escape by concealment in death has been dissolved. (V.18).

In the days remaining, the "Word of the Lord" will now only be "harsh cries and raucous shouts" (V.13 NEB), as out of the mouth of a man with a "stammering" tongue and a coarse manner of speech. How humiliating for you to have to wait-on-his-every-COARSE-SHOUT! in order to hear the last words from our Lord by a "stammering" tongue; that you may be saved through the abandonment of your offensive human idols (destroyers still existing among you), and because of God putting up "siege-works" to keep you people away from His "altar" class on earth. (See Isaiah Ch.29).

The physical idols belonging to the Philistines were abandoned by them and later burned by people of God. The spiritual fulfilment will now be the abandonment and spirit burning of the human idols among you by God!
