THE SECOND LETTER OF JOHN.
(An exegesis with examples of the main points).

Consider the scripture: "Anyone who runs ahead too far, and does not stand by the doctrine of The Christ, is without God... If anyone comes to you who does not bring this doctrine, do not welcome him into your house or give him a greeting; for anyone who gives him a greeting is an accomplice in his wicked deeds." (From 2 John V.9-11 NEB).

CONCERNING DISOBEDIENT ONES.
Example: The Lord God commanded, "Honour your father and your mother, that you may live long in the land which the Lord your God is giving you." (Exodus 20:12 NEB). But what if parents of Christian sons or daughters do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as having already come in the flesh and the way of salvation to gain everlasting life? (V.7 NEB). Or, what if they choose to run ahead of the "doctrine of The Christ"? Should we welcome them into our homes or say a greeting to them? In both cases we should not. We do not want to lose our hope of incorruptible heavenly life for having been accomplices in the wicked behaviour of anyone who is sinning against the righteous principles of The Christ.

FURTHER EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO HAVE "RUN AHEAD":

(1) A prominent member of the sect falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses publicly proclaimed to all those in attendance at their convention that they were all anointed ones! This declaration was thereafter published worldwide. He acted as their god. (2 Thess 2:4).

(2) Another prominent member of this sect falsely proclaimed: "The Princes Are Here!" and declared that future "princes" of the "new earth" described in scripture were all present at that convention! (See Page 829A).

(3) This sect removed the "constant feature" Holy Spirit by 'shifting' congregational responsibilities of anointed ones from them, excommunicating them, and issuing these responsibilities to unsealed men of their "disgusting thing". (Dan 11:30,31).

(4) Many times this sect have falsely proclaimed the year when the present system of things will end and the "new heavens" and the "new earth" will begin.

(5) This sect allows women to teach and exercise authority over men. (1 Tim 2:11-14).

A period of "two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings" was appointed by our Lord Jehovah to reveal these wicked men before the Second Coming of His Son when by the "spirit of his mouth" he will do away with all those who have not been standing by the doctrine of The Christ. (Dan 8:13,14. 2 Thess 2:8). It is important to note that they could not "run ahead" of the doctrines of The Christ unless they had first come to know them. Those who do "run ahead" are not motivated by Christian love, but seek to create "lovers" to glorify them. Do you associate with them? (Zech 13:4-6).

There are many more recorded examples of this sect making erroneous public statements concerning future fulfilments of the Scriptures more so than any other sectarian religion. It is proof that this sect is without God. (V.9 NEB). As for its members who continue to listen to the "utterances" of these false prophets inspired by demons, and who continue to serve them, they are no less guilty than the apostate who first acted as a god by falsely prophesying that those in attendance were all anointed by him their god!
