"EPHRAIMITE" DISPOSITIONS HANDED DOWN TO THEIR "OFFSPRING" IN FULFILMENT OF
THE PROPHECY OF HOSEA.

(1) They are dedicated to and are as disgusting as the "shameful thing" of their love: The "disgusting thing" of Matthew 24:15 and Daniel 12:11. (Hosea 9:10-13).

(2) In their refusal to be corrected, they show "animosity in the house of his God"; showing hostility to faithful anointed watchmen of the house of God on earth, by usurping, ostracizing, and excommunicating them. (9:7,8. See Moffatt).

(3) They have "ploughed wickedness" and "reaped unrighteousness", eating the "fruitage of deception" and trusting in the "multitude of mighty ones". They prepare the "soil" by wilful conditioning of their wicked "offspring" through schemes, and use the multitude of their kind to give them false credibility. (10:13. 2:4,5. 12:1).

(4) When God gave them sufficiency, they became proud, "exalted" themselves and "forgot" Him. But their apostasy shall "certainly bring [them] to ruin". (13:6-9).

(5) Though the "Ephraimite" wickedness "between (or a son of) brothers" may appear to flourish, a Spirit "blast" from The Eternal will dry up their evil spirit source. At first sight their wickedness may appear to prosper, but Almighty God will not only send from the spirit "wilderness" of His beloved people a record of "Ephraimite" error in the form of the "flying scroll" (Zech 5:1-4) which is the "Little Scroll" (Rev 10:8-11), but He will also send the Spirit of His judgement upon them which will dry up their spirits (Isaiah 29:5-8) and pillage all their "desirable articles"; namely their "wealth" of false teachings and apostate "offspring". (13:1, 12, 15 NWT, NEB & Moffatt).

(6) In the season for their spirit "birth" these rebel sons usurped the authority of God in His faithful anointed temple class on earth and so refused to come to spirit "birth" themselves. (13:13 Moffatt).

WHAT JEHOVAH HAS NOW PROMISED
TO DO TO SONS OF "EPHRAIM":

(1) He will "rip apart the enclosure of their heart", the place of concealment of their sins,
and will "devour them there" like a lion. (13:7-9).

(2) He will reject them. They will become "fugitives among the nations." (9:17).

(3) He will put these "sons" of "Ephraim" and their "offspring" to death. (9:16 NEB).

(4) When He turns away from them, they will have no "root" or posterity. (9:11-16 NEB).

(5) He will show no compassion and will not redeem them from death. (13:14 NEB).

(6) He will send them the Spirit of the flying "curse" that is the bitter "Little Scroll" to exterminate the irreconcilable "offspring" of these "sons" of "Ephraim" who made "a sworn oath in My Name falsely". (Zech 5:1-4. Rev 10:8-11).

The "fruitage" of apostate teachings handed down by rebellious "Ephraimite" natures, and which their "offspring" still teach today, is in fulfilment of the prophecy of Hosea. By "eating the fruitage of deception" and becoming satisfied with apostate teachings they trusted in it as "their way", and enlisted the support of a "multitude of mighty ones" for public credibility. (10:13. 13:6).

"So that is why God lets an operation of error go to them, that they may get to believing the lie... so that they may all be brought to judgement, all who do not believe the truth but make sinfulness their deliberate choice." (2 Thess 2:11,12 NWT & NEB).
