"RAVENOUS WOLVES" DRESSED AS "SHEEP". (Matthew 7:15-27).

From the disposition of false prophets comes behaviour that The Christ likens to "ravenous wolves", "thorns" and "thistles", for the following reasons: That no matter how humble the approach made to them, their response is always unsympathetic, bristling with thorny irritation. They certainly do not appreciate personal communications of a disciplinary nature, for fear that their real intentions, their false teachings, and their faithless examples, are held up to the light. So they adopt a cold superior attitude against spiritually discerning ones.

Wolves are predatory animals, and are symbolically used by our Lord to warn how they prey upon and attack the spirit developments of "sheep"-like ones. They hide their wolfish nature behind various guises; in particular, speaking in soft tones with mock humility. (Col 2:18). These men appear to prophesy and administer powerful works in the Lord's name, and yet finally he will say to them: "I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness." (7:23). Why? Because they do not obey the Will of God but exalt themselves by speaking "twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves". (Acts 20:29,30). Because they know that the Will of God for mankind is channelled through Spirit anointed sons of God, false prophets mistreat "sheep"-like ones of the "little flock", as in the example* below. (Matt 25:41-45). By their examples such men reveal they do not have a love of the truth, but take pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thess 2:9-12).

False prophets believe that the number of disciples they draw away after themselves imbues them with powerful credibility, so by cunningly twisting the meanings of the Word of God they acquire followers of similar disposition to give glory to them. But in twisting the "times and law" of God issued through Christ's anointed brothers, they are showing contempt for the last spirit disciplines needed to gain everlasting life! (Dan 7:25-27). We are each given but one life for our spirit creation and destiny; but to show contempt for it by administering spirit rebellion against the loving Spirit creation of God is the greatest sin of all. (Matt 12:31-33).

A TYPICAL EXAMPLE* FROM ONE OF MANY FALSE 'ELDERS'
WITH A DISPOSITION LIKE JUDAS, PROPHESYING IN HIS NAME:
Quote from a so-called 'elder' of the sect calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses: 'I have a very sly disposition, and what I do with certain brothers Ron, is I get their confidence, and when I've got it, and they think they've got me, I stick the knife in and turn.'

This so-called 'elder' said these words during a visit to an anointed son of God! And on his house to house ministry this 'elder' describes himself in Christ's name as Jehovah's Witness? Yet what does the Word of God say? "Do not fabricate against your fellow man anything bad, when he is dwelling in a sense of security with you." (Prov 3:29). The words of this so called 'elder' are an example of a "rotten tree" producing "worthless fruit". The importance here is that although false prophets may sometimes betray their worthless "fruitage", we must not give way to the evil of such men. We must "be on the watch". There is no hope for those who partake of Holy Spirit but fall away into lawlessness. (Heb 6:4-6). The so-called 'governing body' of JWs appointing such men (and there are many such examples in JW congregations) knowingly allow such satanic behaviour to go unchecked. They are the greatest sinners, promoting the wickedness of this "final rebellion" in "human form". They will be cut down, as prophesied. (Matt 7:17-20. 2 Thess 2:3,4 NEB).
