"BABYLON THE GREAT" -- "COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE".
SYMBOLIC "BABYLON" AND HER "HARLOTS" TODAY (FALSE RELIGIONS).
In accord with the above command from our Lord, everyone should have already asked: What are the things that constitute a person being a member of a "Babylonian" "harlot" religion today? And what are the things among them that God hates?
Those who reside in "Babylon" today, symbolically speaking, have proved to be people who have refused to obey essential holy readjustments from God; readjustments set out in the Holy Scriptures declared to us through His Son, the apostles, and latterly through the least of The Christ's anointed brothers. (Eph 4:11-13) (Matt 25:45,46).
So instead of being subjected as His people, they glorify themselves. Some do so in their own preaching of error and giving to others 'ear-tickling' talk, instead of obeying the Will of God for them, which includes His disciplines (2 Tim 4:3) taught by those who are His taught ones, His Spirit anointed servants on earth. (1 John 2:27).
Those who wittingly or unwittingly live their lives in a "Babylonian" condition today, are also friends of this secular world. About these it was said: "Unfaithful creatures! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?" (James 4:4). Primarily, they are such by giving their will to unGodly people, to mere men to rule over them, by personally voting for them (giving their allegiance to them) out of their admiration for the political "wild beast" image, and thus receiving the "mark". (See Rev 19:19,20). This, instead of doing the Will of God known only through His remaining anointed Kingdom servants on earth (His sealed members by Holy Spirit, who are The Christ's "body").
Among these religious "harlots" and their sects (Rev 17:15-18) they blatantly allow such perversities as: incest, homosexual practices (sodomy) (Rom 1:26,27), military recruitment (potential killers), blood-taking (causing diseases through transfusions) (Acts 15:19,20), Godless women dominating over men who allow them to teach God's Word (1 Cor 14:34-37), and men who are spiritually unqualified and not fit to teach the Word of God to manifest themselves as human dungy idols, including the composite "man of lawlessness" (2 Thess 2:7-12) (1 Tim 1:7. Matt 24:15. 2 Tim 3:1-13). Those remaining in "Babylon" will not cease doing these "disgusting things", nor do their members administer countermeasures against such unGodly acts existing among them, and there are many more. (Gal 5:19-24).
Only those few who have been sanctified have proved they are His people by their obedience to His Will. They therefore did "come out of her" (Babylon) by their personal readjustments away from any continuation in unGodly acts, and will be saved and inherit everlasting life in the spiritual realm of God.
In original Babylon (now called "Babylon the great" or the "mother of the harlots", that our Lord expressed symbolically to embrace all the disgusting things that would be practiced by false religions since then including in the "time of end"), there were at least 53 temples practising idolatry, magic, sorcery, divination and astrology, and that played a prominent part in false religions. There are a far greater number of her "harlot daughters" practising today.
