(Cont. from Page 8/4/91). "The foolish said to the discreet, 'Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are about to go out.' The discreet answered with the words, 'Perhaps there may not be quite enough for us and you. Be on your way, instead, to those who sell it and buy for yourselves.' (Matt 25:8,9). THE MEANING OF THE "OIL"
OF MATTHEW 25:1-13. Discreet ones were given enough heavenly spiritual knowledge to be able to take with them extra "flasks" of this "oil" to sustain them should the "bridegroom" be late in coming. But if discreet ones were to spend their spiritual energies and heavenly knowledge instructing foolish ones just before the "bridegroom's" late arrival, they would run out of Spirit "oil". They received this "oil" according to their spiritual obedience; being vigilant, discreet and attentive to previous heavenly Spirit communications. (24:45-47). But while prospective anointed ones may fall asleep because of their long wait for the arrival of the "bridegroom", discreet ones would have sufficient spiritual knowledge and obedience to be aroused and recognized by the "bridegroom" our Lord The Christ Michael at his arrival. Previous refusals by foolish ones to partake of the last Spirit communications from our Lord will expose their foolishness. The "Little Scroll" contains the extra "flasks" of "oil" needed to make one's way into the happy presence of the Lord at his "marriage feast". (25:10). As to "foolish" ones who become an "evil slave" (24:48-51): Spirit communications from God cannot be bought or sold. Going their own way at the critical moment and turning to those who sell books that teach "lying signs and portents", for which they will be shamed away from our Lord Michael at his presence, means they will not be spiritually recognizable to him and the Spirit principles of true faith. (1 John 2:27,28). They will not be recognized by the "bridegroom" as members of the heavenly "woman" of God, just as it is written: "In answer he said, 'I tell you the truth, I do not know you.'" (25:12). What can one say to those who refuse to accept the love of the truth and who prefer "lying signs and portents" ? (2 Thess 2:9,10). This: "'Be on your way, instead, to those who sell it and buy for yourselves.'" (25:9). (Cont. on Page 23/1/93). 11/4/91. |
