"As for you people, only keep away from the thing devoted to destruction, for fear you may get a desire and you do take some of the thing devoted to destruction and do constitute the camp of Israel a thing devoted to destruction and bring ostracism upon it. But all the silver and the gold and the articles of copper and iron are something holy to Jehovah. Into the treasure of Jehovah it should go." (Joshua 6:18,19).

"At this Achan answered Joshua and said: "For a fact I I have sinned against Jehovah the God of Israel, and this way and that way I have done. When I got to see among the spoil an official garment from Shinar, a good‑looking one, and two hundred shekels of silver and one gold bar, fifty shekels being its weight, then I wanted them, and I took them"". "FOR FEAR YOU MAY GET A DESIRE".
Fear of what desire? Fear of owning an "official garment". In fulfilment today, it is the desire for, and ownership of, an official garment of authority to administer erroneous Babylonian teachings.

Why is it a thing to fear? Because for that "official" it brings ostracism from Almighty God! even for having a "desire" for that which is devoted to destruction by God. And yet, because the prostitute Rahab hid messengers of God, she was saved. The important point here is that it is not important if one is merely ostracised from unGodly people. In fact, when God‑fearing ones are ostracised for exercising faith in God, it is the way of salvation for those coming out of Babylon are those being saved. All true servants of God are ostracised by the unGodly for their faith. As for Achan and his family, they were put to death for his "desire"; the outcome of being ostracised from Almighty God.

Example: Many unGodly excuses have been given by men and women wearing "Babylon"-type "garments" to exercise authority over people and overstep the decrees of God; even misusing the Word of God to officiate* which is a deep satanic thing. (Rev 2:20-24).

"As in all the churches of the saints, the women should keep silence in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says. If there is anything they desire to know, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. What! Did the Word of God originate with you, or are you the only ones it has reached? If any one thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that what I am writing to you is a command of the Lord. If any one does not recognise this, he is not recognised": Ostracised from God. (1 Cor 14:34-38 RSV). These commands are totally disregarded in the churches; and so they are disregarded by God. See the "Little Scroll" for further explanations. As for obedient ones of "Judah" today it is written:

"'Therefore here I am prevailing upon her, and I will cause her to go into the wilderness, and I will speak to her heart. And I will give her her vineyards from then onward, and the low plain of A'chor^▲ as an entrance to hope; and she will certainly answer there as in the days of her youth and as in the day of her coming up out of the land of Egypt. And it must occur in that day,' is the utterance of Jehovah, 'that you will call Me My Husband, and you will no longer call Me My Owner.'" (Hosea 2:14-16).
