"OUR PLUNDERERS".

                            (12)      "Listen! it is the thunder of many peoples,
they thunder with the thunder of the sea.
Listen! it is the roar of nations
roaring with the roar of mighty waters.

                             (13)      When He rebukes them, away they fly,
driven like chaff on the hills before the wind,
                                         like thistledown before the storm.

                             (14)      At evening all is confusion,
and before morning they are gone.
Such is the fate of our plunderers,
the lot of those who despoil us."

                                         (Isaiah 17:12-14 New English Bible).

The "many peoples" whose thunderous sound is like "the roar of mighty waters" is the "sea" of mankind. "Our plunderers" are those plundering spiritual sons of "Jacob" today. Among these "plunderers" are sectarian aid organisations, "dungy idols" that promote them, and their admirers and supporters, who form the composite "false prophet" warring against the judicial decision of God to sacrifice Ethiopia and Egypt as the ransom for spiritual sons of "Jacob". (Isaiah 43:1-4 NEB). The falsehood and hypocrisy of this "false prophet" is being publicly exposed as all their 'Christian Aid' programmes consistently fail and are blown about like so much "chaff". (17:13 NEB. Rev 16:13,14).

Such programmes serve to alienate their contributors from Almighty God and banish any hope in them of future spirit life within His said Will. For while they are promoting and worshipping such "dungy" (human) idols of music and sport   "in honour of Adonis"   they and their "crop" of cultivated false gods "will be scorched when wasting disease comes in the day of incurable pain" as Almighty God Jehovah rebukes them. (See: 17:10-13 NEB and
                                                                                                   10:22,23
  NEB footnote).

The "commotion" and "boisterousness" "of many peoples" will be on account of Almighty God as He rebukes them for plundering His spiritual sons of "Jacob" and denying them access to aid and resources necessary to promote the Kingdom of God on earth. (17:12).
