REACHING EGYPT'S TREASURES.

"He will reach out to land after land, and Egypt will not escape. He will gain control of her hidden stores of gold and silver and of all her treasures". (Dan 11:43 NEB).

At the beginning of the "appointed times" during this generation, it was the demon angel prince of Persia who reached and gained control of Egypt's treasures:

Quote: 'As early as 1971, the Egyptian general staff had begun planning for a giant equipment pool for the next war with Israel; Libya's first squadron of French Mirages was included… Algeria made a considerable contribution of men and machinery, and much of its heavy equipment was still sitting in Egypt. Boumedienne told Shazly that Sadat was welcome to keep it "as long as you give me a receipt so that we can close our books". Shazly wrote out the receipt. The wealth of Egypt was reached in paying for implements of war.'

ARABS PITCHING THEIR "ROYAL PAVILIONS"
OF TERROR. OCTOBER 7th 1973.
Quote: 'Shazly is the brilliant U.S.-trained Egyptian staff officer who planned and led the successful Egyptian assault across the Suez against the Israelis on October 7' (1973). 'A Libyan armoured brigade was also on hand to fight with other units from Algeria, Morocco, Iraq, Tunisia, Syria, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia'. 'In 1971, Sadat summoned Shazly, whose first task was 'to push the Soviets into supplying us on a larger scale than ever before'. 'A Soviet delegation arrived on May 19' (1971). ('Libyan Sandstorm.' Pg.110-112).

PITCHING "PAVILIONS" OF TERROR IN LIBYA.
The physical and spiritual manifestation of dictatorships and their power of influence in receptive ones on earth, in opposition to the Kingdom of God, can now be clearly seen fulfilling Daniel's vision (Dan 11:40-45): Military dictatorships in Egypt, Libya, and Ethiopia. Recently, militant rebel groups in Ethiopia have acknowledged the futility of killing their own people to establish their aims (whatever they might be) as they cannot rule over the dead. (See "The Signal" of Ethiopia: Pages 20/7/84 and 6/8/84). Note that the following quotations from 'Libyan Sandstorm' have a time parallel with the "disgusting thing" and the "contemptible creature":

Quote: 'A new press law issued in June 1972 forbade newspapers to criticize the revolution or Islam or to call for rule by any class or individual in Libyan society'. (Pg.279). (See the quotation on Page (841) from the 1975 Yearbook of the sect of Jehovah's Witnesses concerning their new congregational arrangement: The "disgusting thing" of Matthew 24:15).

Quote: 'Qaddafi said he was ceding to "popular pressure" and would be a candidate for president after all. In the event, there was no election and no president'. (Pg.136). But as it turned out, "popular pressure" proved to be his will as leader of an autocracy over the Libyan people.

Quote: 'Qaddafi explained… God had told the Prophet Mohammed to consult people, but then 'when determined' about a matter, to go ahead and do it and 'rely on God'. (Pg.135). Both "popular pressure" and consulting the people is certainly not relying upon God, but on demonic control over the people. Relying upon Almighty God is to rely upon His Holy Word.

"THE god OF FORTRESSES".
"A god that his fathers did not know" (Dan 11:38) was the demon god behind their military power, the demon angel prince over Persia of Daniel 10:13 (NEB). "But to the god of fortresses, in his position he will give glory; and to a god that his fathers did not know he will give glory by means of gold and by means of silver and by means of precious stone and by means of desirable things." (Dan 11:38).
