THE "WORKS" OF WARRING AGAINST GOD. In both the long and short term past, through the use of various policies and stratagems, certain evil men have exerted undue influence against the spirit development of their fellow man. Their "works" are often cunningly deceptive, and are intended to inspire the majority to war against Almighty God. But we are exposing and removing these 'veils' of deception, so that you are then able to distinguish between the intricacies of their grand scheme in opposition to our Creator, and the truth. (2 Cor 3:16,17. Eph 5:6-11. 1 John 4:1).
OF THE DECEITFUL AND THE PLAINLY OBVIOUS. Many such corrupting "works" permeate world society, and have both physical and spiritual implications. The consumption of unclean foods such as pigs, vermin, unclean sea creatures, and blood products is an example of physical warring, but with spiritual consequences. (Acts 15:28,29. Lev 11:1-47). Further examples of corrupting "works" detrimental to mankind are the promotion of the depraved activities of sodomites, the production and distribution of weapons, the manufacture of harmful products, the unjust distribution of food and wealth, etc, etc. (Rom 1:18-32). The subtle "works" of those practicing the "deep things of satan" (Rev 2:24) are mainly administered by apostates. After becoming acquainted with the spiritual requirements of Almighty God, apostates misrepresent them to destroy the faith of righteous ones, abusing the spirit creative power of God's Word to do so. They work at gaining confidences in order to introduce destructive changes. These changes to the times and law of God have subtle intricacies built into them (i.e. double meanings built in as safeguards for them) to gradually condition human spirits; adding to these 'accepted' teachings as time passes. God refers to these people as "double-faced visionaries". (See: Dan 7:25 and Page 24/11/82). Changes to prophecies of God and the time of their fulfilment, especially prophecies currently undergoing fulfilment but relegated by apostates to past generations, are intended to deject the hearts of righteous ones and leave them in a desolate condition concerning scriptures about to be fulfilled. (Ezek 13:8-10, 21,22). All this to give glory to them and promote the sect calling themselves Jehovah Witnesses. Their last resort is ostracism (excommunication) of righteous ones, especially against those who "hold firm and fight back". (See: Dan 11:32-34 NEB, Pages 777 to 887 & (19/3/84). "Achor": Troublesome ostracism "as an entrance to hope"). God mercifully allures His people back by means of the troublesome 'seeds' of ostracism, and for conducting the legal case of God against "double-faced visionaries". "And the word of Jehovah occurred further to me, saying: "Son of man, what is this proverbial saying that you people have on the soil of Israel, saying, 'The days are prolonged, and every vision has perished'? Therefore say to them, 'This is what the Lord Jehovah has said: "I shall certainly cause this proverbial saying to cease, and they will no more say it as a proverb in Israel." But speak to them, 'The days have drawn near, and the matter of every vision.' For there will no more prove to be any valueless vision or double-faced divination in the midst of the house of Israel. "For I Myself, Jehovah, shall speak what word I shall speak, and it will be done. There will be no postponement any more, for in your days, O rebellious house, I shall speak a word and certainly do it," is the utterance of the Lord Jehovah." (Ezek 12:21-25) (See Pages 829A and 829B of the "Little Scroll" on 'The Princes Are Here': Another of the unscriptural identities of these "liars". Rev 3:9). "This is what Jehovah has said against the prophets that are causing My people to wander, that are biting with their teeth and that actually call out, 'Peace!' that, when anyone does not put [something] into their mouths, also actually sanctify war against him, 'Therefore you men will have night, so that there will be no vision; and darkness you will have, so as not to practice divination. And the sun will certainly set upon the prophets, and the day must get dark upon them. And the visionaries will have to be ashamed, and the diviners will certainly be disappointed. And they will have to cover over the [mouth], all of them, for there is no answer from God.'" (Micah 3:5-7). 27/2/85. |
