The apostate "man of lawlessness" referred to in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 were men who were baptised into the life and purpose of The Christ to carry out the Will of God, but who became those "for a change". (Prov 24:21,22).

THE SELF-DESTRUCTIVE "CHANGE" THAT TOOK PLACE:
God, through His Son, gave His Spirit authority to the congregation of anointed ones by means of His Christ. In turn, these brothers of The Christ's congregation would bring in "other sheep" "not of this fold", by means of Christ's authority. (John 10:16). The lawless enemy "seed", were always among them.

Regarding the above, Christ's Spirit authority acted through the apostle Paul to reveal that certain men would listen to the original lawless one satan, and carry out his operations in The Christ's congregations. Satan's operations have been through certain men, using powerful satanic works that brought about the prophesied "lying signs and portents", "with every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth that they might be saved". (2 Thess 2:9,10). This was until their desire for change finally brought about the "shifting of responsibilities" from anointed ones, as publicized by lawless ones in the 1975 Yearbook of JWs, page 250. This was so that they could choose unrighteousness by appointing lawless 'elders' and 'ministerial servants' to administer in congregations.

(See page 248 of their 1975 JW Yearbook, the book 'Visions of Glory', and the "Little Scroll" describing their disgusting behaviour of teaching "lying signs and portents" over many years).

The plain fact is, that lawless ones are so named by The Lord, because they refuse to accept and have a love of the corrective truths from brothers of The Lord. These truths have been revealed to them by obedient anointed ones who had previously been acting as a spirit restraint against lawless teachings in the congregation. These lawless enemies removed the Lord's corrective truths by removing from the congregations the authoritative responsibilities of anointed ones, the only channels of The Christ's communications. As to those who entered into this change, it says: "My son, fear Jehovah and the king. With those who are for a change, do not intermeddle. For their disaster will arise so suddenly, that who is aware of the extinction of those who are for a change?" (Prov 24:21,22). We knew at the time that there was a change taking place, but we did not intermeddle. We watched it run its course, and then went into the "wilderness" to be fed. Since 1975, what we were fed was sent out as a "flying scroll".

When standing before God in the judgement, there will be no mercy for those individuals who have listened and preferred the rebellious errors taught them from an organisation of lawless elders, nor will they be able to blame them. Our work from the Lord has been to reveal these lawless ones in the congregations by the Spirit of the Lord's mouth. The "Little Scroll" contains The Christ's revealings of them, the relevant parts of which have been sent out to many lawless ones. These denunciations are the main contents of the "Little Scroll", and is what will be prophesied "with regard to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings". (Rev 10:11). Thereafter, and because of this knowledge, lawless ones falsely claiming to be spirit elders representing The Christ will no longer deceive and pollute true worshippers of God, after the manifestation of The Lord. They will not even be allowed to sit in the temple of God (in congregations of anointed ones).

Having fellowship with God, is when we obey His Word to the very letter of His Word. These are the rules of conduct for life. As to authority, Jesus said: "I do nothing of my own initiative; but just as the Father taught me I speak these things" (John 8:28B. 8:30); and in turn through men like Paul the apostle to the nations, called to be obedient to God's Will through His Christ Jesus (2 Cor 1:1. 1 John 2:26-29); and in turn through the remaining ones of Christ's anointed brothers.
