ADULTERY.
APOSTATES STILL TEACH ADULTERY, AND SOME EVEN USE
OBSOLETE MOSAIC LAWS TO DO SO. (Col 2:13,14. Heb 8:13. Deut 24:1-4).
"Therefore, what God has yoked together let no man put apart." (Matt 19:6 NWT).
A woman under a vow to Almighty God by The Christ's subjecting, can only remarry "if her husband dies." (See Rom 7:2,3). Otherwise, she commits bigamy. Further, if sexual relations take place with another man, it is adultery. The same is also the case for a man who remarries while his wife is still alive. And if a wife commits adultery while her husband is still alive there are no grounds for reconciliation. This is because she is defiled, something detestable before Jehovah. (Deut 24:4).
If a woman obtains a certificate of divorce under earthly law (though involuntarily from her husband), she has broken her vow in respect of The Christ's law, unless it is obtained because of fornication. If either one obtains a certificate of divorce, they still cannot remarry, even if adultery is proven, and whether a certificate is given voluntarily or not. (Rom 7:2,3).
If a spouse commits adultery (sexual relations outside of marriage), that spouse cannot be made a "subject for adultery", having already fornicated. But if one divorces the other for any reason, including that of fornication, and then decides to marry another --under the delusion or veiled teaching that as their divorce was allowed them, they are then free to remarry-- in so doing so it makes both those involved in such a remarriage (if their spouse(s) are still living) subjects of adultery. (Mark Ch.10. Matt 5:31,32. See the Moffatt Translation for greater accuracy).
BECOMING ONE FLESH.
The act of sexual intercourse itself, or living together, is not "becoming one flesh". (Gen 2:24). Becoming one flesh is brought about by the procreation of a child from the flesh of the husband, and the flesh of the wife. They become one through their procreated flesh. (Matt 19:4,5).
FORNICATION:
Sex relations by mutual agreement between two persons not married to each other. (Oxford Dictionary). The Biblical term is not limited to such promiscuous sexual conduct between single persons only. The Bible speaks of fornication in a general way, whether committed by single or by married persons; but it also uses the term adultery.ADULTERY:
Violation of the marriage bed; sexual relations of a married person with one who is not his or her lawful spouse, whether unmarried (single adultery) or married to another (double adultery). (Oxford Dictionary).BIGAMY:
Having two wives or husbands at once. (Oxford Dictionary). As to the giving of a certificate of divorce to a woman who has not committed adultery by fornication, this is a serious sin, as it is the same as stating publicly that she has fornicated. For it is only on the grounds of fornication that a certificate of divorce can be given, under The Christ's laws. (Matt 5:32). "A married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is discharged from the law of her husband". (Rom 7:2). "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her". (Mark Ch.10). Remarriage among divorcees while their spouse(s) are still alive is committing double adultery.
