"DRIVING" (PEOPLE) "TO WORK"
IS ENSLAVING
PEOPLE WITH WORK.
(Isaiah 14:4-17).
Jehovah refers to those
enslaving others by "driving" (them) to work", as wicked ones. (14:5). Could
anyone today say that the "whole earth has come to rest, has become free of
disturbance"? Or that, people "have become cheerful with joyful cries"? (14:7).
Obviously, the answer is: No. Therefore, we still await the fulfilment of
these happy events. We also know that all the "goatlike leaders of the earth"
(14:9) have to be "made weak" (14:10), just like the powerlessness of all the
"kings of the nations" impotent in death (14:9); their power and numbers
reduced to nothing.
SATANIC RECESSION WORLDWIDE
FROM "GOAT-LIKE" WEAKNESS?
At last the brightness of the "shining one" and
his evil designs are being reduced to nothing, as are his "goatlike leaders".
They, along with "careless daughters", are becoming agitated. (32:9,10).
The one, "striking peoples in fury with a stroke incessantly, the one subduing
nations in sheer anger with a persecution without restraint" (14:6) is now being
forced to withdraw! Economists are finding it increasingly difficult to explain
the turmoil in world markets and the confusion and lack of foresight in banking
and world trade. The Christ's approach, preparatory to his arrival, is what is
causing this! Gradually, "as a thief", he is "coming on the clouds". (1 Thess
5:2) (Matt 24:30,43).
MANKIND'S AWARENESS OF THEIR
REAL NEEDS AMIDST WORLD RECESSION.
Now forced to depend on State handouts, many of
the unemployed feel resentment at having 'lined the pockets' of "goatlike
leaders" with riches. Those that remain employed continue working
regardless of their enslavement in order to afford their worldly pursuits
(unGodly preoccupations). But a growing perception among the younger generation
of the injustice of such an unfair distribution of wealth has led some of them
to demonstrate (gathering together for the war against God). However,
among those that are God-fearing there is a growing awareness of the spiritual
needs of mankind and the urgency for them to turn to God. Because of the
recession of the power of political "goatlike leaders" (the "image" of the "wild
beast") and false religious leaders (the "harlot"), people can now see through
their destructive wicked works, that they were merely for satanic self-glory. At
the death of each "goatlike" leader it can be said:
"Those seeing you will gaze even at you; they will give close examination
even to you, saying, 'Is this the man that was agitating
the earth"? (14:16,17).
ANARCHY PROVES SATAN A LIAR.
Demonstrations
are a declaration and manifestation of the weakness of a ruling power;
that unchecked leads to a state of complete powerlessness, namely, anarchy. But
while the State professes to be a fair redistributor of the nation's wealth,
providing enough money for the unemployed to live on, we can
easily anticipate what the unemployed would do if they were refused. And more
especially so, when they realise "Jehovah has broken the rod of the
wicked ones, the staff of the ruling ones". (14:5).
RECESSION:
The act of
receding; withdrawal; decline in a country's trade.
WEAKNESS: Wanting in strength or power or
number; easily defeated. THE SIGN OF SATAN'S RULERSHIP ENDING.
"Even the juniper trees have also rejoiced
at you, the cedars of Lebanon, saying, 'Ever since you have lain down, no
woodcutter comes up against us.'" (14:8). As a

example: For driving others to work
during a recent industrial strike, a taxi driver was put to death. The
difference being, this taxi driver was not "driving [others] to work" under the
threat of enforced deprivation by an oppressive ruler.
