THE JUDICIAL DECISION OF GOD.

"For My judicial decision is to gather nations, for Me to collect together kingdoms, in order to pour out upon them My denunciation, all My burning anger". (From Zeph 3:8).

IN ORDER TO REMOVE "HAUGHTILY EXULTANT ONES". (3:11).
At last, all those falsely claiming to be faithful spiritual "Jews" or their offspring (sons of Zion) (Rom 2:28,29. Isaiah 61:8,9), but who are in fact liars (Rev 3:9), together with all other enemies of heavenly Mount Zion (Heb 12:22-24), are to be put to the sword of the anger of Almighty God. All peoples on earth are to be judged for their sins against Him: All nations and kingdoms, all demoncracies and dictatorships. (1:17,18).

The prophesied thief-like coming of our Lord Jehovah and His Son The Christ Michael is evidently so. (Rev 16:15). For although the current despoiling of Lebanon's "haughtily exultant ones" and Ethiopia's drought and famine is already known, these elements of the signal of the Day of God have not been detected as such. (Zech 11:1,2. Isaiah 18:1-7). Consequently, the thief-like beginnings of the removal of "haughtily exultant ones" goes unnoticed.

After their recent exodus to Israel, one could mistakenly reason that these Ethiopians Jews are the saved ones described in Zephaniah 3:10 entreating Jehovah with a gift. However, if this were true, why did Jehovah give the command: "Keep silence before the Sovereign Lord Jehovah; for the Day of Jehovah is near, for Jehovah has prepared a sacrifice; He has sanctified His invited ones"? (1:7). Ethiopians may only make entreaties to Jehovah and offer themselves as a gift to Him after the period of the removal of their "haughtily exultant ones". Currently, "haughtily exultant ones" are still alive and active among them, proving that the recent exodus of a small number of Ethiopian Jews to fulfil the "sacrifice" of Zephaniah 1:7 is not in fulfilment of the scripture. (3:10,11).

Before the day of the Lord's anger comes upon you: "Seek the Lord, all in the land who live humbly by His laws, seek righteousness, seek a humble heart; it may be that you will find shelter in the day of the Lord's anger." (2:3 NEB). In response to their entreaties, Jehovah will remove "haughtily exultant ones" from among His beloved people and will let remain "a people humble and lowly" who will "actually take refuge in the Name of Jehovah." (3:11,12).

And, as regards these remaining ones of "Israel": "They will do no unrighteousness, nor speak a lie, nor will there be found in their mouths a tricky tongue". (3:13). They are then in a position to speak the "pure language" of Jehovah, to call upon His Name, to offer their spiritually clean "gift" (themselves), and will "serve Him shoulder to shoulder." (3:9).
