880. YOU ARE "DEBTORS" TO MINISTERS OF Of all the nations of people of the world, not one person can give increase to, or enrich, Almighty God. (1 Chron 29:10-18. James 1:17). Further, those who are contributing toward the operation of His Will have a privileged opportunity, allowed only to those with the right heart condition; resulting in blessings that bring happiness. (John 3:36. James 1:25). GIVING ONESELF TO GOD IS OUR NEED. FLESHLY DEBTS TO HIS UNDERPRIESTS FOR OUR NEEDS. After the failure of natural born Jews under that "first covenant", God said He would conclude a "new covenant" (Heb 8:7-12) with people gathered from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. (See Rev 5:9,10). It is in this regard that God decided, through His Son, to first sanctify a relatively small number of persons, namely 144,000, to help gather in the "great crowd, which no man was able to number". (Rev 7:9,10. 14:1-5. Dan 11:35). Therefore, what work has been of greater importance to those remaining on earth of the 144,000 Spirit anointed "temple" class: Secular work, or the administration of life-giving spiritual blessings? (Rom 15:27 Moffatt). God has inhabited by Spirit and directly instructed only those who are of His anointed "temple" class. (1 Cor 3:16,17. Eph 2:21,22. Rev 5:9. 1 John 2:27). But when all God's first Spirit created sons are gathered to Him in His spirit heavens, then God will fulfil His promise: "And after that it must occur that I shall pour out My Spirit on every sort of flesh, and your sons and your daughters will certainly prophesy. As for your old men, dreams they will dream. As for your young men, visions they will see. And even on the menservants and on the maidservants in those days I shall pour out My Spirit". (Joel 2:28,29). This is so that others may also inherit heavenly life. So to secure this "fruit" of understanding of their spiritual work on earth (1 Peter 2:9), and according to the principle described in Romans 15:26-28 and 1 Corinthians 16:1-3, we should supply their material needs. (Joel 2:21-27). Failure to abide by this principle has contributed to the withholding from the majority of people the spiritual teachings of God (Joel 1:5-7), and has resulted in a spiritual "drought" for those ministering with a spirit of divination as a substitute. But Jehovah will compensate His people for the period when He sent His great military force, His spiritual "locusts", among them, for they did not apostatize themselves. (Joel 2:25). 27/1/82. |
