(Cont. from Page 877A). 877B. DIVINE. (1) Evidence in all Creation proves Almighty God only
as Divine. (2) Only one God excels above all that exists. (3) Only God has proven worthy to receive devotion. From the Creator of all, both the physical and the spiritual exist according to His Will. Evidence in all Creation, by the very things He has caused to exist, bears witness of God to all men, and against any man denying the existence of Almighty God. (Rom 1:18-23). Therefore, diviners can only be disobedient spirits residing in created flesh, who falsely claim the ability to foretell future events, or that publicly maintain they have godly power to supplant the authority of Christ while acting as mediators to receive the confessions of habitual sinners. Others conduct their idolatry through the baptizing of children "for the purpose of (them) being dead ones." In His wisdom and prescience, Almighty God inspired faithful servants of His Will to write down some of the characteristics of people claiming godlike qualities. He did this for our benefit, to expose those who practice works of divination and the reason why they falsely claim the ability to foretell future events. They do so for the purpose of gaining and enslaving subjects to give glory to them as their gods, so that ultimately these subjects live their lives according to their will (2 Peter 2:9-19); which is to deny the existence, power and Will of the Almighty and one true God Jehovah. God has even declared their source of origin. (Ezek 21:17-32 NEB). The Holy Word from God denounces them as dungy idols, humans worshipped as gods by other humans. In past ages there have been numerous deities, of magic, sorcery, etc. (See Pages 877A and 863A and 863B for further explanations).
Today, in these
last days, scriptural warnings from God are revealed concerning men who push
ahead presumptuously, particularly so in the book of Daniel. In chapter 11 verse
14 it warns: "And the sons of robbers belonging to your people will, for
their part, be carried along to try making a vision come true; and they
will have to stumble." (NWT).
It was not intended for Daniel to understand the meaning of the visions he had
been given for the "time of the end". But what an opportunity for "wild spirits"
among your own people to "start up to fulfil the prediction of the vision The reasons for the Lord's command to "prophesy again with regard to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings" the details of the "Little Scroll" is that it contains Christ's corrective refinements for his spiritually obedient subjects (Rev 10:7-11), and because the "good news" is indeed being brought to a finish; leaving only bitter denunciations and grievous lamentations for diviners who tried to make their 'vision' come true, and for all other enemies contemptuous of God, leaving them all with Judgement. |
