Then rumours from the east and the north shall alarm him, till he retires in great fury to inflict doom and destruction on many, pitching his royal pavilions between the Mediterranean and the sacred hill so fair. So shall he come to his end, with none to help him." (Daniel 11:43-45 Moffatt).

DANIEL'S VISION OF THE "TIME OF THE END".
Some of the prophecies given to Daniel are, in most Bibles, incorrectly placed as to their proper order and time of fulfilment. One should also understand what is spiritual in meaning, and what has only a literal meaning. Further, it is necessary to understand that Daniel was not given the ability to know the meaning of the vision concerning the "time of the end", and that only those having insight "will understand" and be able to teach others being spiritually cleansed. (Dan 12:4,8,10 NWT). As to these understandings, many of them have already been explained (taught) in great detail along with one's personal experiences as to their fulfilment. But world evidence of the last fulfilment of the prophecy of Daniel concerning the activities of the kings of the North and South I have left until now, for an obvious reason: the accountability of those now involved and referred to as "wicked ones". (Dan 12:10).

This letter is not for the purpose of spirit refining, as Christ's gathering work of his anointed brothers has already been completed. The final phase leading to the termination of satan's reign on earth, can now be seen undergoing fulfilment in the following: First, we know today that Ethiopia has been flooded over by the Northern 'king' (dictatorship and government by force). Following this was heard a "rumour" from the east, from Afghanistan; namely, that after a worldwide agreement had been reached by almost all countries to gather and compete in an athletics competition within the territory of the palatial city of the king of North, now are heard retaliatory "rumours", made manifest in the boycott of this international event. Adding to satan's rage is the imposition of destabilizing economic sanctions against the king of the North and threats of military retaliation. These measures will make him retire in great fury, for the purpose of inflicting "doom and destruction on many", "pitching his royal pavilions between the Mediterranean Sea and the sacred hill so fair". (Dan 11:43-45).

But these "many" countries fail to understand the teaching concerning the "king of the North": That although certain resources are essential for the "king of the North" to be able to storm against the "king of the South" (such as oil for his "chariots", "cavalry" and "fleet"), it is the termination of satan's reign that is in sight, rousing him to act against the spiritual development of the holy nation of God, thus precipitating his annihilation. But in not knowing exactly who or where these anointed sons of God are located, he seeks to annihilate those appearing to organize themselves into religious or ethnic groups, just as the Northern 'king' Adolf Hitler misguidedly gathered 6,000,000 natural born Jews and exterminated them in 1939-1945. Or, like king Herod, who had all firstborn males under 2 years of age within his territory killed, in order to secure the death of The Christ (Matt 2:16), only to have failed.

Today, though the remaining members of the sacred nation of God on earth are small in number, they have been sanctified of the superfluous things of the heart by Spirit, in preparation for their heavenly citizenship. (Rom 2:29. Heb 8:10-12). The recent frustration manifested by the king of the North, as witnessed by his futile aggression in Afghanistan and elsewhere, is directed against all forms of revival by religionist or ethnic groups claiming to be re-establishing true worship through a return to their 'roots'. Not having a holy nature, satan and his demons are unable to distinguish who the holy ones are (they are the Kingdom heirs to rule over the "new earth"), and so to prolong his rule over the earth he mistakenly places his palatial tents of authority in the territory of a long past and proven disobedient nation, namely, earthly Israel (Heb 8:7,9), and where he and all his satanic endeavours come to their end without a helper.
