(Cont. from Page 824A). 824B. "And the widemouthed cooking pots in the house of Jehovah must become like the bowls before the altar. And every widemouthed cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah must become something holy belonging to Jehovah of armies, and all those who are sacrificing must come in and take from them and must do boiling in them. And there will no more prove to be a Canaanite in the house of Jehovah of armies in that day". (Zechariah 14:20,21 NWT). WIDEMOUTHED COOKING POTS? For many years now, "leaders" of spiritual "Israel" have been heaping up "slain ones" in their "schemes of hurtfulness" and "bad counsel", boasting in their recent "rebuilding" through their restoration programmes, while at the same time it is said by Jehovah: "and you will have to know that I am Jehovah, because in My regulations you did not walk and My judgements you did not do, but according to the judgements of the nations that are round about you, you have done". (Ezek 11:12 NWT). Now is the fulfilment of the prophecy concerning these hurtful schemes resulting from bad counselling that have caused many slain ones of "Israel" in the "City"; slain by you JW "leaders" calling yourselves His Witnesses. But Jehovah has become a sanctuary to us this "little while" (V.16); a sanctuary from those of you who have selfishly said, "Get far away from Jehovah. To us it (the spiritual "land") belongs". After reading Ezekiel chapter 11 and Zechariah chapter 14 along with the foregoing, you will probably wonder, if you have not already realised it, why Jehovah says, "the widemouthed cooking pots in the house of Jehovah must become like": (1) "The bowls before the altar" and "something holy belonging to Jehovah".(2) And those "sacrificing must come in and take from them and must do boiling in them".It is the same as when Jehovah exterminated those people who were saying to Jehovah's priest Aaron and to Moses: "That is enough of you, because the whole assembly are all of them holy and Jehovah is in their midst". Why did they say this? For the reason of their trying to "secure the priesthood". (Num 16:3,10). The fireholders that Korah, Da'than, A.bi'ram and the sons of E.li'ab (who were themselves burned up) were carrying, were afterwards beaten into thin plates to be used as an overlaying for the altar, as a memorial for the sons of Israel. To the end that no strange man who is not of the offspring of Aaron should come near to make incense smoke before Jehovah and that no one might become like Korah and his assembly thereafter. (Num 16:40). So too, the widemouthed cooking pots: The spiritual uncleanness of the "leaders" (the so-called 'governing body') of "Israel" today, with their hurtful schemes and bad counselling that has caused the spiritual deaths and slaying of many brothers, will be a teaching for cleansing, a memorial to be observed by everyone who is sacrificing themselves in a vow of dedication and baptism in Jesus' name. All this will take place after the scourge upon those doing 'military service' (spiritually warring against those of heavenly Jerusalem) at this present time. These memorials will be brought to memory in detail; that no more will Jehovah allow any hurtful schemes or bad counselling against His anointed sons ("Jerusalem") or their offspring on earth. The evidence of this spiritual uncleanness is already established and written down in preparation, along with knowledge of scriptural countermeasures, in order to prevent future profanation of God's Name by them and by those coming in. There will be no poisonous root of previous 'sowings' of the many infectious dispositions of 'Canaanite' natures allowed to grow. (Cont. on Page 824C). 14/8/79. |
