The cunning that Malachi speaks of is the offering, not of a male animal, but a female one, one that has been ruined. In fulfilment, the cunning today is this offering of "her" fruits, those of the "Jezebel"-type false prophetesses among your baptized women, instead of offering known anointed men at the spiritual altar of Jehovah. (Mal 1:14).

All the warnings after Malachi Chapter 1:1-5 are addressed to spiritual "Israelites" from the "tents of Jacob" that are refusing to serve as His priests today. (Rev 7:4). They are certainly not addressed to Edomites, as they are not of the Spirit "Israelite" nation. (Mal 1:2,3). The sins being offered by them today through their treachery and cunning, in fulfilment of the prophecy of Malachi, are now described as a reminder:

(1) Of dealing treacherously with one another, among those under the covenant, by refusing to receive their "tenth parts" (life-giving disciplines from Jehovah sent to His anointed remnant by Holy Spirit).

(2) Of robbing Jehovah of His Spirit for the people in the "tenth parts" and polluting His "bread" by refusing to teach all of His Word correctly.

(3) Resulting in many having taken possession of the daughter of a "foreign god as a bride", ("Jezebel"-type women claiming to be prophetesses today).

(4) Of dealing treacherously and violently with the wife of one's covenant, and by allowing them to teach.

Jehovah says He will "cut off each one that does it, one who is awake and one who is answering, from the tents of Jacob ("Israelites"), and one who is presenting a gift offering to Jehovah of armies." (Mal 2:12). That is, anyone who is doing these things as a so-called service to God. Elijah was used by Jehovah to "clear away" such unacceptable offerings upon His altar, which were existing among the priests. Suppose, as is the teaching of the sect of JWs today, that anointed ones are the "Elijah" class. Then who would be the priests? "Elijah" today would have to be one who conveys Jehovah's disciplines with Elijah's spirit, who would feel as though he was the only faithful one left alive not killed by "Jezebel" teachings or bending the knee to the foreign god (unsealed 'elders'). The one who has Elijah's spirit today would have courage and jealousy for Jehovah; evident in his carrying out the same kind of work, and with many left-over ones who had not worshipped Baal.

If you do not "lay these things to heart" by repenting (correcting these things), Jehovah says He will "curse your blessings". (Mal 2:2). Being cut off by Jehovah is not the same as being cut off from among His people, but is everlasting.

While this disobedience of women being allowed authority to teach within and outside their own families continues, the hearts of fathers are not towards their sons, or sons toward their fathers. Therefore, Jehovah's disciplines for life are not being fully carried out to free obedient people from this 'Adam and Eve'-type disobedience: The failure of men to carry out their God-given responsibilities, and of women wanting to usurp men's authority; keeping them both bound to the enslavement of corruption. (Rom 8:18-24).
