"LET WIVES BE IN SUBJECTION TO THEIR
HUSBANDS AS TO THE LORD
". (Eph 5:22).

A wife whose husband is an unbeliever should be in subjection to her husband, and her subjection should be "as to the Lord". In the case of a husband whose form of headship conflicts as to the Lord then 1 Peter 3:1,2 would apply, and her chaste conduct should accord with 1 Corinthians 7:3-5. If their living circumstances are not chaste as to the foregoing scriptural directions, as respects either the husband or the wife, then one has proceeded to depart ("putting self apart" "in such things". (1 Cor 7:15 Greek Translation). Necessarily, circumstances such as these would have to be to such an extent as to reasonably be recognised as enslavement before the believing husband or wife could, if desired, completely depart from their spouse with a good conscience and be at peace with God.

Sisters who teach, particularly the male heads of families, whether inside or outside the congregation, are being disobedient to our Lord and ignoring the headship arrangement of God. (1 Cor 11:3. 14:37,38). Faithful women could declare Jesus as Lord to men or women when a defence and/or reason for their faith is required of them, and would probably begin by saying: "It is written", quoting directly from God's Word. But they would not teach by giving personally offered proofs and/or arguments. They could make it known that only certain accurately taught males who have Jehovah's Spirit and therefore the scriptural qualification to do so, can teach God's Word to others; for which arrangements can be made for such a brother to help them to further learn about Jehovah God. 1 Timothy 2:12 says: "I do not permit a women to teach (or) to exercise authority over a man (any man, whether a believer or unbeliever), but to be in silence". This of course means any man, his wife, and his offspring whom he is head over. Today 'Adam and Eve'-type disobedience to God still exists throughout all congregations of Christendom, and are therefore sects. Hopefully the spirit of truth and the administering of it will be realised among you by your obedience before the coming of our Lord Jesus.
(2 Thess 1:6-10. Gen 3:17-19. 2 Cor 11:3).

A SECT: From the Greek word hai're.sis from which is derived the English word "heresy".
(See 2 Peter 2:1 Large Print NWT Footnote). Hence, a body of men separating
themselves from others and following their own tenets.

TENET: Principle, dogma, doctrine.

Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". There is only one "way", through Jesus Christ and the teachings he gave us through his apostles. Paul said, "For there must also be sects among you, that the persons approved may also become manifest among you". (1 Cor 11:19). Those not approved are not favoured by God. The separating of themselves by choice to follow their own tenets, is either by adding to or taking away from the Word of God, or the twisting of its true meanings. In either case, it promotes 'Adam and Eve'-type continuance in disobedience, and their father is the originator of the lie, satan.
