The prophecy from Jehovah in the book of Revelation for the period we are living in today, and for our benefit, describes with symbolic language the place Babylon as a "mother". For it says: "Babylon the great the mother of the harlots and of the disgusting things of the earth". (Rev 17:5). From this "mother" (Babylon) were born "daughters", all of which would 'fornicate' within all other places and people throughout the world, handed down through generations. (Rev 17:9-11).

The "greatness" that nations inherit from the "mother" or "Babylon the great" is her/their opposition to the Will of the Creator of heaven and earth Almighty God, and is through their worship of so many false gods and goddesses; graven images, dungy idols, magic, astrology, sorcery. All these things are worship of the devil that is the spirit power behind her teachings. Her offspring "daughters" came to birth out of her place of origin, where there were over fifty different kinds of Babylonian worship practiced. Her defiance, through her harlot "daughters" was handed down through the generations, and still continues in these and other forms. For many, throughout the whole world today, their religious false god worship stops up the way to the Kingdom of God .

HOW FAR HAVE THEY REACHED?
They have reached as far as the (demon)stration of unloving coldness being deliberately shown to many "alien residents" (strangers to true worship -- those who have not feared Jehovah) by certain members claiming to be in 'The Truth' (claiming full obedience to God's Word). (Mal 3:5). These new "sheep"-like ones are being turned away from the opportunity to gain God's truthful teachings concerning the "Way of Holiness" by wolfish men who under the guise of misunderstood disciplines and understandings harass sheep-like ones to serve their authority, dispersing the sheep by their bad examples. One of the modern-day 'daughters' claiming to have Divine authority are the prophetesses who mislead by satan's various ways (by the "deep things of satan". Rev 2:24), but who appear as "angels of light". The following are some of the many known examples manifesting their inner darkness:

(1) A 'brother' told by a so-called 'elder' residing in another district, and in the hearing
      of new 'Bible Studies' (Bible students): "We don't want your 'Bible Studies', we like
      to get our own 'Studies'".

(2) A so-called 'elder' and his wife, who were told to leave the house of a
      husband and wife because they were slandering another 'brother' living nearby.

(3) Concerning an anointed brother, a 'sister' and wife of a so-called 'elder' publicly
      stated: "When he is present at the group study, we don't have Jehovah's Spirit".

(4) Two families, totalling nine people, left a congregation meeting
      before it had commenced, due to the bullying of another so-called 'elder'.
