(Cont. from Page 790). 791. (2) So then Jesus' blood, which has been poured out, was and is in behalf of the sins of many, all sorts of persons. It is written: "Unless blood is poured out no forgiveness takes place". Jesus said, "This means my blood of the covenant", which is an agreement between his anointed brothers and Jehovah God. Jesus' blood bought persons for God. (Rev 5:9,10). These will be the Kings of the Kingdom. They are the congregation of God.We may ask the question: Did Jesus purchase persons out of their eventual death? Yes. (Read Romans 6:3-5). Here it states that while alive on earth we should be walking in a newness of life. It does not say that as long as we continue in our old way of life, his blood saves. Only those that have a hearing ear of obedience towards a progressive cleansing of their spirit while awaiting a release by ransom from their bodies to a resurrection of heavenly life with Christ are saved ones. And to his anointed brothers who conquer will give the new Name of our God, and the new name of Jesus, and the new name of the beloved City. Because of their obedience, their life would be distressing at times.
This is the likeness of his death, the torture stake they pick up, the one Jesus carried Could we understand immediately the wisdom of God in Christ in say a few public statements? Of course not. His wisdom has to be learned, and taught to very imperfect people. The Bible contains all necessary instruction, referred to as a scroll. There is no such thing as true faith without knowledge, for when the spiritually blind try to guide the spiritually blind, they both fall into a pit. We have to be taught the way to the real life in sincerity and truth. I am going to tell you now what I believe to be a secret, because it is not realized by the vast majority. It is this: Those who are enduring in their spirit are doing so for discipline from their Heavenly Father. These are His sons, those who "yield peaceable fruit". (Heb 12:7-11). The reason why this has been quoted to you is because of one particular erroneous teaching that has been taught to many. Let our Father's word explain: Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:27-34 that when we are judged we are disciplined by Jehovah. He did not say or mean that those who eat of the loaf and drink of the cup unworthily will be severely punished and be sent into Gehenna, where there is no life ever. But what it does say is this: "However, when we are judged, we are disciplined by Jehovah, that we may not become condemned with the world"; which means, we exist for corrective discipline. Those who are themselves lacking toward their brothers will be disciplined (corrected). Verse 34 means: Do not come together unless there is unity among you, whether you are of the "little flock" of Jesus' Spirit anointed brothers, or of the "great crowd" of "other sheep" of whom Jesus said: "these also I must bring". (John 10:16). Jehovah's discipline is with everlasting life in view. (Cont. on Page 792). 14/1/77. |
