666U.

666 YEARS OR 666 DAYS? OR BOTH?

"Here is where wisdom comes in: Let the one that has intelligence calculate the number of the wild beast, for it is a man's number; and its number is six hundred and sixty-six." (Rev 13:18).

We have been given the very number, so how do we set about calculating this number of 666 that we are told is also a man's number? The answer is obtained by being given the intelligence (knowledge) of the "appointed times" of God, during which period "the words of God will have been accomplished." (Rev 17:17. See Page 666T). These time periods are found written in the inspired writings of Daniel, and in John's writings in the Revelations by Jesus Christ. John's visions were of things to be fulfilled "in the Lord's day." (Rev 1:10). In scripture, the number six is an imperfect number, and so is man imperfect.

BREATH OF LIFE OF THE "WILD BEAST".
If one calculated back in time 666 years from the year 1982, we would have to look for some evidence of the "wild beast's" beginnings in approximately 1316 AD. Under the heading: 'English History' in Hutchinson's Encyclopaedia it states: 'Later Middle Ages (1307-1485). Commercial interests were mainly responsible for the 100 years war with France (1337-1453). The financial problems they created enabled parliament to secure control of taxation, and to control the king's choice of ministers by the weapon of impeachment.'*

Example: At the time they used the weapon of impeachment in the 1300s, the "image" of the "wild beast" began its authority, handed on to them by satan "the dragon". (Rev 13:4).

Now concerning the "wild beast" "image", in Revelation 13:4 it says: "and authority to act forty-two months was given it". What did the "beast" with the authority do (much later) during the 42 months? Read Revelation 13:6,7 for the answer. The important point for consideration is that all the earth followed the "wild beast" with admiration, and worshipped the "dragon" (satan), because the dragon gave its authority to the "wild beast". (Rev 13:3,4).

THE WILD BEAST'S POLITICAL "IMAGE" IS THE "EIGHTH KING". (Rev 17:11).
Who then are the "ten kings" represented by the "ten horns"? These give their authority to the "wild beast" "image" and receive authority as kings for only one "hour" with the "image", and who battle with the "Lamb". (Rev 17:12). They are the members of the United Nations Organisation to be given their "one hour" of authority as kings over the political matters of this world, with the current "eighth king" of political rulers and "image" of the beast representing satan. (Rev 17:11).

Important to note, is that the authority of the "ten kings" for one symbolic "hour" is not during the 42 months, but is during the war described in Revelation 19:19. (See below).

"THE LAMB WILL CONQUER THEM". (From Rev 17:14 Moffatt. NWT).
"As for the ten horns you have seen, they are ten kings who have no royal power but receive royal authority for an hour along with the beast; they are of one mind, and they confer their power and authority upon the beast". (Rev 17:12 Moffatt).

"UNTIL THE WORDS OF GOD ARE FULFILLED." (Rev 17:17. Moffatt).
The remaining "ten kings", the "wild beast", and the "harlot" are all from the same evil spirit source, namely, the "dragon", satan. One symbolic "hour" (approximately 15 days) is the period when all kingly powers over men unite throughout the entire earth, leaving their own wars "to wage the war with the one seated on the horse and with his army". (Rev 19:19). Thereafter, the Kingdom of God will begin.
